ZAATAR W ZEIT OPENS IN DFC IN GRAND STYLE

A brand new Zaatar w Zeit (ZwZ) outlet opened this January at Dubai Festival City. The grand opening event on the 19th of January, 2016 was attended by the media, mall management, members of the Cravia family and the ZwZ team.

The opening was kickstarted by refreshing drinks served to people outside the outlet, an instant photo session, a ceremonial ribbon cutting as well as a short but motivational speech by our CEO, Walid Hajj.

Once the store opened, an on-site DJ got the celebrations going. A delicious ZwZ lunch was served and people were gifted giveaways as they left the opening.

Speaking on the occasion, Mahmoud Harb, our Director of Operations expressed it best when he said, “The popularity of Zaatar w Zeit continues to grow and we are delighted to be able to extend the very best in urban Lebanese dining to customers at Dubai Festival City. With this opening of our fifteenth outlet in the UAE, we are now more than just a high quality food and beverage offering in Dubai, we are a recognized lifestyle brand that is an essential part of the community. Our mission is to continue introducing Zaatar w Zeit into neighborhoods and to bring the brand’s unique dining experience to even more customers.”

CINNABON MAKES VALENTINE’S DAY SPECIAL

The month of love saw Cinnabon turn romantic in every way. Starting with heart shaped Valentine’s boxes as well a special competition giving lucky couples a Valentine’s night dinner. Front of house staff across outlets joined in the celebration with red aprons and heart shaped glasses. While shops had special counter cards, tent cards and toothpick stickers.

And what was a huge hit among our customers was the Heart Shaped Frame competition. Hundreds of couples took pictures framed by our lovely message and posted them using the hashtag #LoveCinnabon. With 4 happy couples winning a dinner for two on Valentine’s Day at The Steak Bar.

NuTELLA JUST CAN’T LIVE WITHOUT CINNABON

To continue with the positive momentum of Q1 2016, and to have the perfect product promotion, Cinnabon has introduced the Nutella® Minibon and Chillatta once again. This product reintroduction will see the delicious Minibon and Chillatta in shelves up to April 2016.

Customers can enjoy this unique combination of our signature Cinnabon dough with Nutella® spread inside, baked to

perfection and topped with our signature cream cheese frosting and hazelnuts. And sip on a refreshing frozen treat of the Nutella® flavor in our creamy Chillatta drink. Cinnabon is supporting the continuation of the successful partnership with Nutella®, through a marketing campaign that includes free product promotions, a radio campaign and competition and a special Roll ‘N Bake event!

A fun trip was organized for the ZwZ JBR Night Shift Team as they enjoyed a trip to the Iceland Waterpark in Ras Al Khaimah. Bonding, laughs,

segment growth. To celebrate this achievement, the whole team enjoyed a day of team building and fun with a trip to Wild Wadi!

BORHAN DALI - A CRAVIA STAR

There is a magician who lives in the Cravia Headquarters. A quiet worker who works hard, is always willing to help in any task and embodies positivity and a friendly attitude. He is Borhan Dali, a member of our office support staff!

A ‘Yes’ person who’s ‘Yesses’ come from the heart. Someone loved by everyone in the office. Always smiling, he makes sure the kitchen is always clean, the office is neatly organized and everyone is happy. From the signature Caramel Coffee he offers all visitors to office plants that he cares for, Borhan’s special ability to take care of every detail leaves us all amazed. AND, he is famous for his word “Dear”! If you ask him anything, his replies always begin with “Yes dear” and end with “Thank you dear”. So Borhan, from all of us to you, Way To Go DEAR!

The year has started off with a strong plan and commitment from everyone. As we chart our way in yet another year full of promise, high expectations and momentum, I would like to remind everyone how important it is to stick to our foundation and principles.
