Principal’s Message
Congratulations to our wonderful fundraising committee on a very successful Mother’s Day Stall last Friday. The stall raised a total of $2257.55. The enthusiastic support of the pre-ordered gifts was greatly appreciated and we hope all Mums enjoyed their lovely presents. Due to the overwhelming response on stall day the dedicated committee members made their way urgently to the shops to purchase additional gifts to ensure every child had the opportunity to purchase a gift. This is a big task for 650 students! Their commitment to our school fundraising this year has been outstanding and we thank each and every one of them. Thank you Rachel Scott Coombes, Rachel Suesskow, Helen Terlikar, Wendy Filewood, Lisa Blanchard and John Irving.
Well done to our three members of the Penrith District Girls Touch Football team who competed yesterday at this event. Bridie Murphy, Saskia Vos and Madison Graham were our three talented representatives and helped their team make the final.
ASSEMBLY ORGANISATION
THURSDAY’S
We request that all parents wait at the front of the school each Thursday before assembly. Due to the large number of students being supervised by our teachers at lunch time it is not possible to provide adequate safety supervision if additional adults are also in the playground before 2pm. The gate will be opened at 2pm in order for parents to make their way to the Hall. Access through the office earlier will not be permitted.
A picture says a thousand words…

Just a reminder that winter PSSA commences this Friday. Please ensure you have returned your child’s permission note to their coach and send in the $6 bus fare to the teacher on Friday morning.
WALKATHON WEDNESDAY 20 MAY Our annual Walkathon will be held next Wednesday from 9:30am. Children from Years 2-6 will walk a five kilometre distance over the school cross country course with Kindergarten and Year One walking a shorter course of five laps of our two back playgrounds. Sponsorship cards were distributed to students recently and additional cards are available from the school office. A list of prize levels is listed below. All sponsorship money needs to be returned to school by Thursday 4 June. Mr Corry is looking for parents to help during the Walkathon from 9:15-11am. Parents who are able to assist are asked to contact the school office or return the note distributed last Thursday.
