June 5: On the occasion of the twentieth anniversary of the reunifica-tion of Hong Kong, the Chinese Law Society is scheduled to hold a seminar on "celebrating the twentieth anniversary of Hong Kong's re-turn to law" in Zhengzhou on June 5. The seminar will focus on the theme of "the present and future of the rule of law in Hong Kong", the review and outlook on the implementation of the Hong Kong Basic Law, the
development of the rule of law and government governance in Hong Kong, the adherence to the "one country, two systems" and fight against the "Hong Kong independence". The Seminar sponsored by the China Law Society, China Law Academic Exchange Center, Henan Law Society, China Law Society Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macao Affairs Office, China Law Society Hong Kong Basic Law Macao Basic Law Research Association and China Law Society Institute of Rule of Law, co-sponsored by the Central People's Government Support from the Legal Department of the Hong Kong Liaison Office.
