1. Work Experience OrganizationOne Two One Advisor Sdn Bhd (121 Advisor) is a visionary technology solution and consulting services company founded by Kevin Steer with a team of talented professionals that have been successfully serving clients across Financial Insurance and Takaful sectors in Asia for the past 20 years. One Two One Advisor was incorporated in Malaysia in the 2010. Since then, One Two One has developed various innovative business solutions in mobile technology, social media and Web 2.0 capabilities. One Two One Advisor. Among the few solutions that have been a selling point for One Two One Advisor is Customer Experience Management (CXM 2.0). These solutions have been presented to many Insurance companies and have managed to prepare a solution for these companies.

One Two One Advisor has a small team of consultants working together on various projects. The number of consultants currently is at 18 with them divided into three groups which are the Web Development Team, Mobile Development Team and the Business Analyst/ Quality Assurance Team. Due to its small in number, One Two One Advisor specially prepare a team consist of younger consultants that will plan activities for the company every 4 months once with budget specially allocated for this. Other than that, to ensure a closer bond among employees, One Two One Advisor also do celebrate various festive season or any special occasions with a lunch for all or an outing for relaxation or enjoyment purposes. In addition, One Two One Advisor also do encourage employees to share the knowledge they obtain by having special meetings in the meeting room where everyone including interns are invited to join in to learn or gain knowledge on the Insurance and Takaful Industry that will be beneficial for various individuals in their job.

Due to its small in number, One Two One Advisor practices the ideology of working from home. At the same time they do prepare an office for consultants to work together and they are allowed to change their sitting place any time as long as they are comfortable and convenient for them. A section filled with lockers is also prepared for consultants to keep their working laptops or other equipments when they leave the office. There is also a section where food and drinks are prepared for the consultants to enjoy whenever they feel hungry or thirsty. One Two One Advisors also allow their consultants to have a flexible working hour as long as the task assign is completed within the agreed date. The idea of working from home was first adopted when One Two One Advisor first started in 2010 with only a smaller group of people working under it and it was not necessary to have an office as most of the consultants at that time are very experience in the task assigned to them. As the company grows, the top management sees the need of having an office so that younger consultants can have monitored at the same time offered help when needed. One Two One Advisors top management do not stress their consultants out where they allow their consultants to enjoy and have fun during working hours at the same time work should be completed by the due date. Through this, I find that the consultants in One Two One Advisors are very friendly and at the same time helpful. They are always willing to give you a hand even though they may be packed with assignments that are bound to due. This have allowed me to feel how it is to be able to work with a team with people that treats you as their own family members even though they know you for just a short period of time.As mention above, One Two One Advisor consultant team is divided into three which are Web Development Team, Mobile Development Team and Business Analyst/ Quality Assurance Team. These three teams usually work on different projects but they still communicate with each other and always have an idea of what the other consultant is doing. With this whenever they are switch to help out in other project, they will be able to cope with the changes. As an intern with a short duration of two months, I was assigned to be a Business Analyst. One Two One Advisor usually assigns their interns to be under either Web Development Team or Mobile Development Team. Throughout the two months in One Two One Advisor, I was told to report directly back to Mr Don which is the Senior VP in Business Consultancy.

1Reading and understanding a. The Insurance and Takaful Industry which is the target market for One Two One Advisorb. One Two One Advisor Solution and Campaigns Through this week 1 of reading, I managed to have a deeper understanding on the Insurance Industry as well as getting to know more about what One Two One Advisor have been focusing then (2010) and now.

2Research, Report and Document Findings on trends, achievements and best practices of digital technology For the two weeks which is week 2 and 3, I was given the task to do my research on various topics given to me but are all related to the current trends, achievements and best practices of digital technology both throughout the world and in Malaysia but my main focus was in Malaysia.

4Research, recommend and document suitable digital and social media marketing contents for Insurance and Takaful business On week 4, I was assigned to work on the researching of various visual contents that are attractive at the same time suitable for the Insurance and Takaful Business.

5Research, Report and Document Findings on the Digital Insurer Competitor Study For week 5 and 6, I was assigned to research on the Insurance and Takaful Companies that are registered in Malaysia. My focus was to study these companies approach in a few sections which includes social media, and digital technology.

7Research, analyze and document findings on online Insurance and Takaful sales processes. For week 7 and 8, I continued on with my research but now focusing on the online sales process by various Insurance and Takaful Companies both in Malaysia and other parts of the world.

2. Degree ImprovementA few suggestions that I would like to point out would be that the subjects that we students took before heading for our internship should be related to our major. The reason why I state this point is because during my internship, I was often questioned about the subjects that I took that are not really related to my major which is in E-Business. Hence the quote "Jack of all traders, but a master of none" was mention when I was interviewed for the internship placement. Adding to this, with students taking at least a few subjects related to their major would give or allow the students to have an idea on what they will be doing or the problems they will be facing that are related to their major.

Other than that, the reason for students having internship mainly is for working exposure. Hence, I suggest that a longer duration of internship or another time of internship should be introduced into our BIT Degree. The reason for suggesting this is because as a student when the duration of internship is too short, it is hard for students to obtain an internship placement. Adding to that, students that manage to get an internship placement may not be able to learn more than those who have a longer term due to the disadvantage in terms of internship length.

2.1 Evaluation of Industry PlacementBefore going for my internship, I had very shallow idea on what I would like to pursue as my career direction. But throughout the past two months completing my internship in One Two One Advisor, the experience there have gave me a wider view of the many IT career paths that I may head into.

As an intern in One Two One Advisor, I was given the role of a Business Analyst which was mainly involved in the research process of many current IT issues that are related to the Insurance and Takaful Industry and was to report directly back to Mr. Don, Senior VP for Business Consultancy in One Two One Advisor. Throughout my time working as a Business Analyst, I had a great time doing various researches that are related to Financial Products which includes Insurance and Takaful. Hence, I have been working on various researches for the past two months in One Two One Advisor. The few main researches that I was assigned to work my research on includes the trend or achievements of digital technology in Insurance and Takaful Industry as well as understanding and familiarizing the sales process for the Insurance and Takaful Industry via online in Malaysia and many other countries.

As a Business Analyst, while completing these tasks that have been assigned to me, I have faced many different types of difficulties that have prevented me from obtaining the result that I was hoping for. And due to this various difficulties which includes the lack of information in the net, the inconsistency of data on the net and many others difficulties that may have prevailed me from completing my research as expected. But even through these difficulties, I have gain knowledge on how to do a research more efficiently at the same time with effective results. This many researches that I have completed have not only taught me on the ever changing digital trends, it also provided me with more understanding in the Insurance and Takaful Industry. Even though skills as such may have been learnt throughout our time in college especially when we are completing our assignments but I do believe that this experience of working specifically on research has really enhance my skill when it comes to doing researches. After working as a Business Analyst for the past two months, the experience surely did have an impact on me in which I would like to pursue my career path in this direction which is working to be a Business Analyst. But after learning more about the various experience shared by my fellow colleagues, I have decided to change my career path and try out other career paths. The reason for this decision is because to be a successful Business Analyst that not only benefits my company but at the same time able to fulfill the customers needs requires a lot of knowledge and experience.

2.2 Tips and SuggestionA few points that I would suggest to students that are about to undertake a placement is: Just apply for any internship job available. The reason for this is because with our short duration of internship, not all company will accept us. Other than that, it would be a good experience for students to try out other fields. Avoid being too picky would another reason for this. A note to this point is that student should apply any industry placement job available but related to their Degree Major.

Be humble and willing to learn and to do any job even though it may be simple task such as photo stating or filling documents. The key reason why I advice student to be willing to do so is because by doing task as such would create a sense of humility and companies are happy when they see students that are humble and are willing to do even the simplest task. Hence with that it creates a good impression to the company about the student.

Be eager and try to learn as much as you can. This is because what we learn in class is normally very different from what we apply in the real world, in the working life. Hence, it would be good if a student can absorb as much of the values in working experience and apply them to their student life. This would benefit a student greatly.

Be diligent, discipline and independent. As a student we should be independent and try to learn up things that are not taught in class. Do not slack during work as this will give a bad impression to your colleague in the company.

Learn to mix around. As we are considered new to the working world, it is always an advantage to mix and mingle around with not only the group of people you are working with but with those you are not as well. This is because by getting to know about other colleague from other departments, it not only allow you as a student to have a wider network of friends at the same time it allows you to know and experience more about the working world.

Dare to ask. I encourage students to ask question whenever they have a problem during their industry placement. The reason to this is because by asking questions we tend to learn more efficiently and effectively. Adding to that the main reason why we students are completing our industry placement is not only to experience working life but at the same time to learn more about how the things or subjects that we have been learning in college clicks together in the real world.
