Main Objective ISCP: Conservation,Research & Education

ISCP ’s Board of Executive Director and staff, I am pleased to present a briefsummary of the organization’status /activity for the September 2015. As explained inrecent monthly Reports September 2015 will show in table at the end of this report.

The Monthly Report presents some highlights of the many Projects or activitiesacross the Medan-Sibolangit or commontly in North Sumatra province. in which weare involved. I will mention just a few and detail with Photo Documentation. We havebegun a research and monitoring project focusing on Poksai Project plus otherProject .And during year to year we add some project like Nias Hill Myna and nextplan project for slow lories. This is a project sponsored by Zoo Liberec ,ZooHeidelberg and be supported by BKSDA, Czech students,Local students and localindividual such us forest guide and bird trappers. This project is noteworthy becauseit is our first major study on this particular group of upland birds.Main project andOther project still try continues in trying developed by all ISCP Team in local and inabroad specially from Czech supporter and others country which interestinginvolved.

- On 30 August 2015 Rudi submitted aapplication grant for pangolin toPBNF(Prince berbhard Nature Fund)

- On 2 september 2015 Rudi make presentation infront of BKSDA forcontinuing lobby finish Nias Hill Myna/NHM MoU/permit

- On 9-11 september Rudi accompany lightboxen.com for making pangolindocumentary but not continue until 17 september cause need work in centerand some work left and not finish yet in ISCP

- On 9-14 september Mygreen king from malaysia friend of rudi visit ISCPcenter and help some progress in center with Tomas Busina by plan sometrees in center and help Tomas Busina for poksai program

- On 20-21 Rudi Control by Phone situation of Nias Hill Myna which found onlast july in Nias island by phone to pak Nazara saohagolo the local peoplewho responsible to secure NHM in the wild plus send proposal offeringcooperation to Southeas Nias Goverment Authority.

- On 25-30 Rudi Flight to singapore to attending songbird crisiss summitconference and on this conference with Simon bruslund make presentationISCP activities specially Nias hill Myna Project and Poksai Project.

- On 30 September Rudi Transfer money to Pak Nazara saohagalo 2.000.000IDR montly compensation payment to secure area for NHM in the wild foraugust and september 2015
