DESCRIPTION

The Australian Government is investing $43 billion over 8 years in fibre, wireless and satellite broadband infrastructure as part of the National Broadband Network (NBN). There is strong evidence that the NBN will be a key enabler of many economic, social, technological and environmental developments (Bowles, 2011). This new digital economy will have an impact on all Australian businesses, including Not-for-Profits, and will require every Australian to improve their information and communication technology (ICT) skills. Participants will take away tools and processes to develop a digital strategy which will enable them to capitalise on the opportunities for Not-for-Profits being made possible through the NBN.
