Speaking about statistics in your report to SKC, % increase never represents real growth, increase of 100 from 100 = 100%, but increase of 1000 from 100

will be 10% .. now who is growing ? which school did you go JP ? How did you become IAS ?

When a victim complains that he is being bullied, you cannot tell him, Go get a consensus from the bully, only then I will protect you- How can we ask for

consensus from Andhra people ?

Did you publish the funds collected for Loksatta NGO organization and forum for democratic reforms?

Why did you contest from Kukatpally constituency while you reside in Khairatabad? On what basis a ticket was given to Mr. Rattaiah? This looks like you a

playing cast based politics. Why didnt you campaign for any other contestants?

How many minutes of TV advertisement you have given on behalf of you/your party? Why there is only your photo in those advertisements and how this is

different from other parties?

You have started Loksatta in around 1995, what change were you able to bring? The politics have become even worse since then, isnt it a failure of Loksat

Loksatta/JP always would like to talk about district level governance, but why are you not in a position to accept the wishes of people from 10 districts? Isn

creating smaller states a start to bringing government to district level?

Isnt it true you are a Hypocrite + Bureaucrat, not a politician who changes their policies according to the wishes of majority people?

We have heard from trusted sources like people in your constituency and your party men that you are a dictator, is this change you would like to bring in new

generation politics?

How is your party different from other parties and why are you not able to maintain internal democracy in your party?

Why there are no other elected members within your party? And why there are no other elected members who were elected in any elections?

What you think might be the reason behind there is no migration of people from Telangana to Andhra?

Do you support people from Andhra buying lands from Telangana people against the rules set when Telangana is merged with Andhra?

Are you saying that people who speak Telugu should only live in AP? Can there be a mother to a language? If so, Telugu thalli is mother of which language

telangana telugu or andhra telugu? Almost everybody knows that sometimes we cannot understand the language even though it is same language. Some people even

think the language they speak is superior to others.

This is the statement from your party. The Loksatta is not opposed to the formation of a separate Telangana State but it believes that a solution to its problem

in total decentralization of power and resources through formation of district governments. The Lok satta partys Election Campaign Committee members told the

media that a separate State could always be carved out if the people wished it, by following the procedure prescribed in the Constitution. When more than 80

countries in the world are less in area than a district in Andhra Pradesh, formation of a Telangana State is not a big deal. While your party Loksatta supports smaller

states why are you opposing the formation of Telangana?

Do you think you won the election by just the votes of people from Andhra? Or are you thinking that Telangana people will forget your stand on Telangana w

it comes to general elections?

Do you think you will win the next election with your current stand on Telangana?

Isnt it the duty of central government to establish some institutions and industries in the state capital? Isnt it true that Andhra region will get those kinds of

institutions and industries in their new state capital?

Are you aware of the injustice done to Telangana (language discrimination in society, development, jobs in government/private sectors, irrigation projects,

education, drinking water facilities, fluoride issue, weak political leadership, etc? I am not sure how long will be the list.) And how would you like to solve all these

issues without the formation of state?

Isnt it true that the merger of two states was done against the wishes of Telangana people (dont talk about the political leaders, we know that our leadershi

weak)?

How do you justify the content in report to Sri Krishna committee without reflecting the wishes of Telangana people? If you feel that what you have done is

correct, why didnt you release your report to people?

Why did you avoid participating in government program called Praja Patham where you could have solved some of the issues?

Please try to broadminded abt Loksatta. Loksatta neither supported samikyandhra nor Telangana. Why dont u understand? what makes everyone think

Loksatta is opposing telangana n supporting united andhra? We want to make it really really clear. If Loksatta really opposes telangana, i wouldnt have been

here trying to clear misunderstandings.

Everyone in this forum wants development in Telangana, right? Loksatta wants the same too. We are just saying we could get much more development if we

concentrate on eliminating corruption, local and district governments. In this way, all the funds could directly go to villages and corruption in the middle can be

eliminated. What we are saying is without the root cause of the problems solved, development cant be sustained just by separating or uniting states.

One more thing abt the statistics presented by loksatta, we are trying to say blaming others for our problems is not good for the country. This is applicable to

both telangana and andhra. Loksatta agrees that certain GOs have not been implemented properly but that is the same case everywhere in AP n not just

telangana. We are trying to say, Polticians all over AP have robbed people everywhere equally. So, we should try to stop that n not fight among ourselves.

Loksatta feels that corrupt and inefficient politics is the reason for under development all over AP. Loksatta wants to bring the facts out and is presenting its

way of developing the state. How can u say its opposong telangana?

Please dont hate a man just because he doesnt agree your views on one single issue. That doesnt bring good democracy. There will be always an issue

where 2 people disagree and doest mean that they should not go along on other issues. He clearly has no interest in power, he is setting an example for other

educated folks to participate politics.

Participation of politics is not discussing the politics inside a house and keep quite. There are millions of frauds are going on that is just because people are not

participating in direct politics and has view that leader should do the good. Politicians or goverment doesnt do good for you unless you pressure them by

involving in politics. People think,thier fundamental responsibility is only voting. their duty is completed after voting. That is the fundamental mistake in poeplesthinking. Real politics is making politicians accountable. I respect your own views on Telangana. Some of the points above

raised are just based on hatred and baseless on JP because he is not willing to join in your point of view.

With out educated people come into politics, Indian politics will be always like this and people will be bafoons infront of few politicians. He is one of the few

intellectual people who is doing responsibiilities and civic duties as responsible citizen. He is setting an example that how to involve in politics and reform

politics. 99% percent of country keeps silent on real issues of fraud and think it is the responsibility of oppisition leaders duty to fight the government. That is

not right. One Advani, One Chandra babu or One KCR ,Or JP can not resolve the real issues. As a telanganite, Conditioin of Telanga doesnt improve much

by splitting state as we dont strong leaders and and strong will power in the people to fight on other real issues emerges after formation of Telangana. Where

are the thousands of telanganities who are fighting now, never fought fraud never pressured any politician before KCR started his movement in 10 years ago.

ofcos, there is some truth to your movement but politicians shows in maginication lense.

We should be consicious and not agitated by every issue that is raised. Politicians always finds way to divert and divide

people.Our problem will not be resolved even after Telangana is formed. YSR and Chandra babu ate so far and KCR and Jana reddy will eat the money in th

same scale after telangana formation. Our situation is not going to be improved. Trust me.

Statitics are not only the measure but whatever measure or method you want to use that will not deviate much from the

statistical measure. Uthopia may be growing at 11% that is good sign for that country. That means this country is growing, if they maintain their growth rate,

they will be in better shape after few years or decades of work.

GDP is one of the measure, he has not mentioned that this is a measure or the only measurement to monitor the progress

of the country.

I will answer all of your above questions in my next comments.

Please do not patronize us. We know what we are doing and we certainly know who is the culprit. Curruption and all bull, we will deal with it later. Right now

our one and only ambition is getting T-state. When JP respects peoples mandate so much and why doesnt he take the responsibility by standing with T-

people. We all know its not a fake movement unlike SA movement. Whole country knows, that it is a genuine struggle. Im not able digest, why an intellectua

like him is totally putting a blank face on this issue. Whats disgusting is, he always comes with telangana vaste, telangana vallaku pedda vorigedi emi

undadu..SA vallaku pedda nastamu undadu.. When he knows that, why doesnt he stand with the people in this genuine struggle. I was an adrent admirer of

issue, why doesnt he respond. He doesnt respond when SA cops brutally attacked student including girls and journalists. Everyone remained calm and JP is

no exception. I had tremendous amount of respect for this guy and I was wrong.

I coudnt believe, the man of his stature, compared ethiopia and USA. wow..JP

By not making his stand clear, he has joined the rest of the flock(congress, TDP etc). Atleast Chiru is better as he made his stand clear.

Well.. anyways..We will not stop our agitation until we get our state and we will surely make them pay, whoever playing cunning games with our lives.

beginning unlike other parties. Yes or No are not the only options available on the telangana issue. Our party feels Yes or No apparently is and leads to the

same thing in terms of development.So it took a stance of its own that our focus shouldnt be about separating or uniting states but to bring good governance.

Our agenda works the same way even if the state is separated or united.Dont keep on saying Take a Stand..Take a stand. This is our stand and people shld

Ans) The partys genuine idealogy is to not get elected by pouring money. You can not clean up politics by using corruptive techniques.This is a very difficult

path but a good path.Such good paths are very long and certainly achivable and it take some time for us to achieve the results that you were asking.We need t

educate people on the importance of their vote and not selling for temporariy benefits. Educate and encourage educated people to come and involve in politics

There is lot of ground work needed. There will be lot of ups and downs in our path. You would see the results. Dont expect overnight results or 5 years. It is

progressive path.

You have started Loksatta in around 1995, what change were you able to bring? The politics have become even worse since then, isnt it a failure of

Ans) You certainly have not followed Loksatta for all these years, my friend. You always push the responsibilities on one or few people when everybody else

corrupt. Loksatta has formulated many policies and presenting this to political parties. Other political parties never interested in these changes but Loksatta has

not stopped its job.

It is not a easy job to fight a poweful coruppted, wealthy political parties with genuine policies with non corruption methodologies. It is long struggle. Dont

expect other parties dont put hurdles for these kind of policy changes that Loksatta is proposing. People must be educated and involved for its success. Dont

think it is not your job to eliminate corruption. Loksatta can do this job without your help.

The reason Loksatta joined political bandwagon, is corruction has increased too much and good people are not there to fight in politics.People are loosing faith

in system. You cannot clean politics being completely outside of it. Loksatta realized it and settingup an example for the people and inviting and encouraging

people to enter politics. There is always a issue that we both disagree and that should not be reason why you dump shit on who are working f for greater good

and common cause. Do you really think all the political descisions people make are made with fullconciousness. No. Most of the indians dont think there is a

place for them to participate and it is not their shit.

Ok Friend, Let us keep Telangana issue aside, how many other major issues/processes that you disagree with Loksatta? Write the samething for all the partiesand judge it. Tell which party is trying to eliminate corruption and which party is not breaking the rules. Which party has more ethical values. Let us believe that

we would get Telangana and It takes 5 to 7 Years to formulate after all these political struggles. You think it is ok for every other shit current parties throwing

on the country. That shows your true nature and belief on the corruption that you are asking us to resolve.

There is a flaw in the argument. You should combine both ethiopia and usa economy and check avg GDP. If the GDP of some eithiopian dists is more than us

ddistricts that means ethiopia is grwoing on par with usa. DOnt calculate separate GDPs.

Nothing against Telangana, the agitation, the leaders and most importantly deminising the agitation or necessity of Telangana formation, is intolerable, u may be

Thats really funny..If you and me dont take a stand on any issue about our state or country, its understandable. Not a big deal. If JP was leading Loksatta, a

non profit organization and if he doesnt make his stand clear then its not a big deal But apparantly thats not the case with him right now. He is a sitting

MLA/party president. Lot of youth in T, expecting him to set an example by making his stand clear unlike some major political parties.

The whole telangana is going to bed and waking up early with only one question, When..They do not want anything right now but telangana. Because of this

movement, we all know, there is hardly the great Rosiah(bhisma on hampasayya) govt is functioning. Its like a major hindrance to the development of T as we

as SA. So why not deal with it now and we can also fight with curruption simultaneously we really intend to.

Even if we get on with UA for now, what makes you think it will die down forever.. It will come again. Everyone thought that the demand for T-state was

finished in 70s. And after 40 years, see where we are at now. Instead of discussing about economy, terrorism, development or any other issues, we are talking

about T and SA. We all know that its due to politicians and politics and prolonging the issues for years and years for self interest and selfish deeds.

So lets all fight for T-state together and please ask your JP to come and join the movement and help this genuine cause. Trust me, his name will be written wit

golden words in T-history books.

We will fight with hand in hand to root out curruption in our country after formation of T-state.

Infact we all join Loksatta in its fight against the curruption and who wouldnt want to see a better INDIA.

chinnu, Iam posting the following ,as your political Boss JP has said in USA that there is No organised discrimination against telangana.

JPs educational back ground is medicine, I.e. biological sciences. He must have passed his civil services with public administration or any other biological

sciences. I am surmising this, in view of his utterances and interviews as he never used any of the terminology related to any other social sciences like

psychology, sociology or anthropology. Further, he has acquired administrative blinkers by working for donkeys years as civil servant and in the capacity of

secretary. His legalistic and legislative terminology in whole of his public discourse, speaks of his limited capacity to analyse human societal situation in an

insightful and comprehensive way. With his verbal facility and polemical tricks he is promoting himself as an academic or a political or social scientist. The way

he is taking the fielded questions, in the style of a polymath, and a social scientist can not hide the fact that he is mere ex bureaucrat. This is the man who is

deluding others with his intelligence and promoting him self as intellectual.

One can not expose him in a gathering like this, as todays NRIs, hardly read expert journals ,as most of them are soft ware engineers or doctors; Hence his

show goes on.

The sentence there is no organised discrimination is totally dumb. He wants to use the term like he often heard in news papers or his administrative experienc

organised crime.

In a societal situation, discrimination is institutional and it is called institutional discrimination. The male and female ratio should be 1000 to 1000 in a ideal

situation. If male female ratio in a given population is 1000 to 950, it is discrimination. This happens because there is institutional discrimination. This is

happening in India. Men donot sit in the board rooms and public meeting and panchayaths and pass a resolution in an organised way to set the ratio in this

proportion, to call it organised discrimination. It happens through the culture of patriarchal society through un-dictated female infanticides, health care

inequalities between boy child and girl child in a family etcetera.

Similarly the disproportion in the employment of Telangana people and in secretariat and officer cadre in singareni colliers is institutional discrimination. If water

flowing into Telangana are less than Andhra it is institutional discrimination. It is not decided in, say, in a hall in Vijayawada by the Andhra elite sitting across th

Discrimination happens through power dynamics surreptitiously and subliminally. It is beyond the understanding of JPs cut and dry bureaucratic mind.

When women are power- disadvantaged, the discrimination is remedied by affirmative action. If Telanganites are discriminated due to, being power

disadvantaged, it has to be remedied by affirmative action, i.e.; separate Telangana.

If JP is saying no organised discrimination unknowingly he is stupid,If he saying it, knowingly he is making every body a fool.

Please check the Loksatta Stand for Telangana in Loksatta website. Loksatta is not against Telangana. Formation of state if for development of the state. But,

Loksatta view and path for development is different from traditionally view. Loksatta says the district head quarters will the capital of the district. High standar

schools, colleges, Multi specialty hospital , Industries for employment and All govt jobs, should be done in District head quarters not in State capital and

Lok Satta agenda for Telangana

The Lok Satta is not opposed to the formation of a separate Telangana State but it believes that a solution to its problems lies in total decentralization of power

and resources through formation of district governments.

The Lok Satta Partys Election Campaign Committee members told the media that a separate State could always be carved out if the people wished it, by

following the procedure prescribed in the Constitution. When more than 80 countries in the world are less in area than a district in Andhra Pradesh, formation

of a Telangana State is not a big deal.

The Campaign Committee comprises Prof. Kodandarama Rao, Mr. Bodepudi Satyanarayana, Mr. K. Dharma Reddy, Mr. Dommata Venkateswarlu, Mr.

Juluri Satyanarayana and Mrs. Gita Murthy.

The members said their agenda for Telangana includes:

Constitution of a tribunal to allocate river waters equitably to all districts

Formation of 400 new towns to spur commercial and industrial development

Provision of road and bus facilities to every village

24-hour power supply to every village

Provision of quality power to the farm sector and Government compensation for motors damaged by voltage fluctuations

Protected drinking water supply to every village

Employment opportunities to a million youth

Uplift of 10 million people above the poverty line

Closure of belt shops and gudumba outlets and restriction on liquor consumption

San Francisco Bay Area Telangana NRIs gathered in large number to protest against Jayaprakash Narayan of Loksatta. JP was in US for fund raising and to

propagate rejuvenate India, As part of the tour JP visited bay area and the meeting was held in Sunnyvale in Sunnyvale Hindu Temple on May 23, 2010 . Bay Are

Telangana people strongly protested against JP for his statement that There is no organized discrimination in AP which was made in Washington DC . Bay ATelangana NRIs have urged Dr. JP to stand by his principles of the change in politics and decentralization of the administration. They have asked Dr. JP no

distort the TRUTH by mimicking the statistics with percentages, as opposed to facts under influence of system and organized/privileged section of the society as once

a great British statesman and former Prime Minister George Canning said I can prove anything by statistics except the TRUTH.

Bay Area Telangana NRIs peacefully presented few examples of organized discrimination in the form of pamphlet and posters to all audiences that have attended

fund-raising event hosted by Loksatta party under the banner of rejuvenating India. And, they have demanded Dr. JP to come out clean on Telangana without

being influenced by Money, Power and Caste based politics. It was a strong belief in the educated youth that Dr. JP stood for principles, when he lead the non-prof

organization, Now that belief has been quickly eroding once he has been elected as peoples representative. It is for everyones dismay that Dr. JP has become yet

another drop in the ocean of the political deception. Bay Area Telangana NRIs urged him to give up his political ambitions in favor of social service to the

downtrodden, economically poor, segregated section of the society.

Bay Area Telangana NRIs have posted the following queries to Dr. JP on his comment about There is NO organized discrimination in the AP

1) JPs statement on 610 G.O. as published on http://news.loksatta.org :Have traditional parties been interested in addressing the issue of regional imbalances,

would have constituted the State Planning Board as part of the Six-Point Plan and sincerely implemented G. O. No. 610..

For the above JP intelligently shies away with a simple statement that its a Poor Governance. But Bay Area Telangana NRIs argue that this poor governance is

happening consistently and repeatedly for last 53 years and its effecting one region (Telangana) all the time and that this poor governance has all the characteristics of

a regional discrimination. Bay Area Telangana NRIs challenged him, Isnt what you said a case of organized discrimination? If not, why you have emphasized ? Why

is this hypocrisy?

2) Telangana liberation struggles has not noted in the literature and text books. Isnt this an organized discrimination?

3) Shri. Potti Sriramulu has been portrayed as father of AP while he had fought for Madras Manede and Andhra separation from Madras Presidency. At the same

time Telangana liberation leaders werent mentioned anywhere. Isnt that an example of organized discrimination?

4) Yogi Vemana University (Kadapa) has been allocated 343 cores while 5 Universities in Telangana have been allocated meager 27 cores. Isnt this a case of step-

mother treatment? Isnt this an example of organized discrimination?

5) Erstwhile Hyderabad state planned Irrigation projects have been shelved and all the funding from Telangana land sales has been diverted to Seema-Andhra

projects. Isnt this an example of organized discrimination?

6) While SLBC irrigation project development taking a tortoise walk while Pottireddypadu project has been flying with high colors (in violation of water distribution

by bhachawat tribunal). Isnt this an example of organized discrimination?

7) GO 610 (Andhra employees in Telangana) hasnt implemented yet even after 25 years while GO 564 (Telangana employees in Andhra) has been successfully

implemented within 3 months by Dr. JP (Chief Secretary of AP) . Why is that hypocrisy? Isnt this an example of organized discrimination?

8 ) Telangana farmers have been given Rs. 22 per liter for milk while Andhra farmers have been given Rs. 24 per liter. Isnt this an example of organized

discrimination?

9) There are 74 Govt Degree colleges in the Telangana (10 dists) while Rayalseema (4 dists) has 70 and Andhra (9 dists) has 166 per 2002-2003 Govt of AP data.

Why is this uneven distribution of funds? Isnt this an example of organized discrimination?

10) Andhra capitalist owned offices/companies only preferred their kith n kin and not considered Telangana youth for employment in their companies, Instead, same

job positions were published in their local regional additions, Is this not regional based organised discrimination?

11) In the Telugu films, Telangana people have been portrayed as villians, clowns, but never a protagonist, Is this not language and cultural based organised

discrimination.

Bay Area Telangana NRIs have urged Dr. JP that we are all for decentralization of the administration to the district level governments and lets start that journey by

creating focus of development on 10 districts by demerging Telangana out of 23 districts of AP, then we can look forward to further steps as necessary for

decentralization. Decentralization is a journey hence lets walks before we run on this journey so everyone in the society are prepared and we can achieve our end

goals without hurdles and also urged him to focus on local and regional issues before rejuvenating India.

Dr. JP couldnt face the trail of strength by Bay Area Telangana NRIs and couldnt take their challenge for presenting the facts to his statement hence he has taken

backdoor entry to podium. This itself proves that, he could not able to answer to any of the questions and avoided all Telangana issues like any other politicians wi

double standards. Bay-Area Telanganites demanded JP not to hurt the sentiments of any particular region in the near future.

Is JP Correct ? Lies, Damned Lies and Statistics by Sujai Karampuri

What happens when you give a fire extinguisher to bunch of monkeys? They use it to kill other small animals. Though a fire extinguisher is designed to save lives, it

can become dangerous if the user doesnt know how to use it. The same holds true with statistics. If the user doesnt know how to use them and when to use th

they can become lethal.

There are fools and then there are educated fools. I have not studied Dr. Jayaprakash Narayan of Lok Satta, but was happy to know that he has chosen to fight

corruption. Thats laudable. But in the context of Telangana, I chose to describe Dr. Jayaprakash Narayan as one such educated fool who doesnt know how an

where to use these statistics. This is an excerpt from a chat with him:

There are some more facts. Literacy growth: Telangana : 1143% Rest of AP: 448%.

Some facts: Agricultural implents: Telengana-67% Rest of AP-33% Food grains-Rice growth(1955 to 2006): Telengana-708% Rest of AP-191%. Gross irrigation

growth: Telengana-140% Rest of AP-38%.

Because the growth rate in Telangana was high he quickly concludes that Telangana is doing much better than rest of AP. Detractors of Telangana are using his

observations to say that Telangana has never been discriminated and in fact it developed more and better than rest of AP.

Here are three different countries with GDP growth rates for year 2007.

Country A: 11.1%

Country B: 5.9%

Country C: 2.0%

If you ask Jayaprakash of Lok Satta (JP) which country is doing the best, he and his followers will tell you that Country A is doing the best, followed by Country B,

followed by Country C. If JP was asked which country is far ahead of others, he would say that Country A is far ahead of Country C by many counts. JP may e

tell you that it is much better to live in Country A followed by Country B and the least desirable place would be Country C by all standards. So, what are these

countries?

Country A: Ethiopia [11.1%]

No facts; only interpretations

The problem with statistics is that you can prove almost anything if the listener doesnt know how the statistics are used. They say: there are lies, damned lies a

then there are statistics. So, when the lie is biggest it is supported by a flawed statistic. JP must have learnt the art of lying from his brothers at Satyam who have

deceived this country and people for more than 7 years with cooked up statistics, where more than 13,000 fictitious army of engineers worked, had bank accounts

and even drawn provident fund except that they all existed only on paper, not in real life.

Statistics on Backwardness

It is a foregone conclusion amongst Andhras, clearly evident from so many comments written here, that Srikakulam is one of the most backward districts in Andhra

Pradesh. Some Andhras cited that district as an example to continuously tell us that backwardness is universal, that their district is backward than most Telanganadistricts.

They also repeatedly tell you that Hyderabad is the most prosperous city in Andhra Pradesh, that this city was developed by Andhras with their hands (literally) and

that it is the only reason why Telanganas are fighting for a new state, to bag this coveted crown jewel of AP.

Look at the graph here where improvement in Human Development Index (HDI) is discussed for various districts in AP:

From this graph, JP will conclude that Srikakulam is one of the most progressive districts in entire Andhra Pradesh. He will tell you that Srikakulam is doing the bes

in the entire state while Hyderabad is doing the worst (it is at the bottom). That it is much better to live in Srikakulam on all counts compared to Hyderabad.

There are lies, damned lies and then there are statistics. One look at the fields of Telangana and Andhra would tell you the state of affairs. Facts can be interpret

the way you want to. India did not fight for independence from Britain on a statistic. Andhra State was not formed from Madras State on a statistic. What we

is a political decision, not a statistical report.

In fact, none of the states, Himachal Pradesh, Haryana, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Kerala, were formed on a statistic. None of the states in Northeast,

Mizoram, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Tripura, were formed on a statistic. Even the most recent states, Chattisgarh, Jharkhand or Uttarakhand were not formed on a

statistic. There are some districts in Madhya Pradesh which are more backward than districts of Chattisgarh. There are some districts in Uttar Pradesh which are

more backward than districts of Uttarakhand. There will always be some districts which are backward even in the the prosperous states like Gujarat and Punjab.

The formation of state, like formation of a country is not based solely on backwardness of few districts. You have to see the picture holistically I dont think JP et

can do that.

More importantly, percentage increase can become an extremely flawed statistic if you dont know how to interpret it as shown above.

SriKrishna Committee will surprise you

Beware Telanganas, you are in for a big surprise. Another Satyam is in the making right in front of your eyes. This campaign of misinterpretation and obfuscation

reality using numbers is only going to intensify. There are thousands of schools on the paper, none exist in reality. There is rice on the paper, none exist in reality.

There are facts on the paper, but none exist in reality. The government is not in your hands. They will cook up facts and show that the poor orphan on an Indian

street is the Bill Gates in disguise.

Unless the SriKrishna Committee members actually tour the villages of Andhra Pradesh, they will never know the truth. Andhras will cook up another Satyam and

prove that the most backward districts of Telangana are in fact more prosperous than Beverly Hills of California. And thats why they celebrate the formation of

SriKrishna Committee.

My only word of advice: Beware.

time who r really caring us. Knowing every fact from top to bottom everybody asks why u want to get separated? Whatever the answer given they have simplreasons to rubbish our argument or demand. The last paragraph what u wrote here is with some phrases is really nice and almost every T favouring person had

written the same on this website about SKC. However, as we all know in democratic system of countries certain procedures to be followed and cunning ppl

So what is the most acceptable way of measurement for economic growth of a particular country or region? Do you measure in % or numbers whether it is

GDP or GNP?

What does it say if a country is growing at the rate of 11.5% of its GDP? Where does this country stand in terms of economy just after 25 years if it has same

pace of growth? In your example it is Ethiopia.

At the same time what does it say if a country is growing at the rate of 2% of its GDP? where does this country stand in terms of economy just after 25 years

with the same growth rate? In your example USA.

Do you know what are the consequences/repurcussions in USA if it has 2% growth rate not for the coming 25 years , just the next 5 years? 90% of NRIs will

return back to India. Trust me. There will be more racist rites, crime will go up, people will be unhealthy with no jobs and no insurance, banks will go bankrupt

(they are already bankrupt), people cannt pay for their houses, believe me everybody will return back to India. Just imagine if it is 25 years of the same

growth.

bought 7.5 lakh acres of land in that country.

Based on your analysis if those two countrie shave the same growth rate then I will move to Ethiopia after 25 years from USA.

So now you put analysis on our Telugu land. Telangana has much better growth rate than Andhra. If the same growth rate continues for the next 25 years then

everybody will move from Andhra to Telangana.

One more thing in your article.based on the HDI you published we can definetly say that there is no discrimination going on in developing Andhra Pradesh. If

it has been in other way round then we really have to think about that.

It all depends on which area you are moving in USA. Go to south of any city in USA and see how people live there. There are people who dont have houses,

Sujai is correct in describing JP as educated fool. JP talks of district govts. for better administration and opposes two separate administrations for Telangana

and SeemaAndhra.

formation of AP, Telangana didnt have many schools and other facilities and now they have many.Thats why Andhra has faced injustice for all these days.

when Telangana students cant even afford to get into Govt. Institutes govt has set up Private Institutes which obivoulsy are useful for the middle class Andhraswho settled in Telangana.And because of 4 yrs rule, even these are occupied by Andhra Students.

They are talking as if all private investements are for Telanganas benefit.

But we can definitely counter all these arguments with the fact that how many Telanganites are really there such institutions.

This lobby will kick the ball to Delhi in the name of high command, but again they themselves manage to roll it back in a shape and manner which suits their

Money bags play a vital roll in all this drama. Many Telangana leaders cannot afford to operate in such a channel. This is the reason why Telangana leaders and

movement got hi-zacked several times and crushed earlier.

Selective boy-cott of Seemandhra business, products and services including films to dilute their money bags is what the remedy to this cancer.

In such an atmosphere, they themselves will leave us and go back by leaving our Telangana into our hold.

govt. be outrightly or under RTI and the babus who r full of seemandhra in every dept. under every minsitry and starting from some independant offices like

1) one should compare the gross improvements during the time together, no need to divide by the original number, which is a low base in case of Telangana in

1950s.

2) Compare the numbers as they are. No need to subtract the 1950s number at all.

statistics are not only from the secretariat. they are from the planning commission , finance, agriculture , irrigation, water resources ministeries etc.

fudging statistics is not so easy especially with rti and courts being over active nowadays.

the skc has got independent , neutral and professional members. let them evaluate and give their report.

@Kishan, I have to been to secretariate for the first time when Karanam Ramchandar Rao was a minister in NTRs cabinet. If I can give u exact count I think

around a 750 times I went to secretariate in my whole life, yes the last I visited was in the year 2008. I agree I have a very little knowledge of secretariate and

its bosses and babus. But the employees r 25% from T and 75% r from SA. BTW, secretariate is not the place where every common man needs to go.
