Billionaire industrialist Tony Stark is one of the smartest men on the planet. When he dons state-of-the-art high-tech armor of his own design, he becomes one of the world’s most powerful super heroes…
The Russian village of Volstok is in ruins, and the whole world blames Tony Stark.
Six months ago, an attacker looking very much like Iron Man laid waste to the town, killing three thousand people. Only a few residents survived, and they’ve brought Stark to trial at the International Criminal Court for crimes against humanity. Their accusations are airtight,
corroborated by satellite imaging and bio-signature tracking.
After a good-faith effort to prove his innocence in court, Tony turned himself in. However, Ivan Vanko, the ingenious inventor and Volstok survivor, attacked the incarcerated Tony with armor
made from salvaged tech and a thirst for revenge. However, Tony was prepared. Using a proto-armor made from scratch, Tony managed to escape Vanko and prison, giving him the
opportunity to infiltrate Stark Headquarters and reacquire his armors.
While attempting to uncover who had been stealing his tech, Tony was shocked to view Stark security footage...which showed a decayed version of himself!
