• I will be teaching 6002 (IO) this coming Spring, which is required
• Please review the syllabus from last fall

• Based on two ideas:
• Course organization based more on deduction rather than induction
• A belief that good policy analytic work is good social science research

• Realize that working “for” and “with” the UN are often the same in practice in country missions.
How can I manage my own school to work transition?
• Realize that working “for” and “with” the UN are often the same in practice for NGOs.
• First: I would like us to create a LinkedIn group to document and connect you to alums.
• You create the group, and I’ll help populate it.
Two goals for us
• Second: I would like every IO specializer to have published a solo-authored op-ed by graduation.• That’s eight second year
