Summary

RK Group is a leading specialist financial recruitment consultancy operating in

the Midlands, Yorkshire & North West geographies from a regional branch

network (Birmingham, Leeds, Manchester and Preston). A dedicated

recruitment group operating exclusively in the specialism of finance including

Accountancy, Tax, Audit, Risk and Treasury across the clerical, part qualified

and qualified marketplace.

Established in 1996, the average length of service within the business is over 5

years. With a genuine commitment to long term development, we have built

close links with many businesses, clients, candidates and professional bodies in

local regions. The business was born out of a search and selection recruitment

team and as such we have adopted and continue to use a retained search

methodology whilst offering a contingency-based pricing strategy (i.e.

payment on success).

RK Group is part of AIM-listed Kellan Group PLC, so you can be assured of our

financial stability, corporate infrastructure and be confident in our reputation.

In summary as a business we provide Accountancy and Finance staff across

the North of England and have developed an extensive client and candidate

Who do we work with?

As a group we coordinate the recruitment of accountancy and finance role

for an extremely diverse range of clients ranging from owner-managed SMEs

& VC/PE-backed businesses through to FTSE 250 organisations.

In the last 12 month period we have successfully coordinated recruitment of

Accountancy and Finance staff for the majority of the large business in Greater

Manchester and surrounding regions. Our client base includes: Manchester

United FC, Sodexo SSC, The Coop Group, Hilti, Bibby, Lookers PLC, OCS, LF

Europe, Northern Rail, Ener-G Group, Sonoco, Virgin Media, Jet2, JCT600,

As a team our consultants deliberately focus on working within small

geographical locations which helps us to enhance the level of service that we

our Manchester office who focuses specifically in the recruitment of temporary

clerical finance roles in Greater Manchester. This dedicated approach allows

us to provide our clients truly substantiated advice on the candidate pool in

their catchment areas.

We are able to give you access to a comprehensive network of local

candidates who have had contact with our business over the past 18 years.

We are an advocate for new media sourcing models: for example we invest

heavily in the Linkedin recruiter tool. This allows direct access to passive

audience and allows us the opportunity to advertise jobs specifically to

relevant passive candidates within a given radius of your organisation.

Our clients also benefit from the pool of candidates generated via referrals

from our diverse and longstanding networks: 40% of the candidates that we

place are through proactive recommendation (from both candidates and

clients).

We are an agency that believe we should be a recruitment partner and as

such, to a large degree, we can tailor our approach to suit your needs.

We can provide maps of the market to outline key competitors and the

individuals within them. We can provide detailed salary benchmarking

information specific to your roles and requirements. As a group we certainly

feel the genuinely credible insight into the market is an ‘added value’ service

in its own right.

We are able to provide and coordinate Thomas psychometric testing for

specific senior appointments should it be requested.

Our consultants can provide on-site interview support to your line managers

should it be appropriate.

We offer interview facilities to our clients looking to arrange meetings off site

(particular benefit to any clients recruiting potentially sensitive or confidential

assignments).

We pride ourselves on being a registered REC member.

Following a meeting / call to fully understand the specific nature and

requirements of any role specification our consultants immediately begin their

sourcing strategy and screening process.

Our procedures in brief for every candidate;

Initial CV Screen

In depth Telephone Screen (30 minutes – 1 hour per candidate)

In depth face to face competency based interview and CV review (per

candidate 1-2 hours) – Every candidate submitted to Provident will have

been met by a consultant as standard, with no exception (we pride

ourselves on a genuine commitment to vet candidates appropriately,

honestly and diligently)

Reference checking - 360 degree where possible

Supportive Information

As a group RK have placed EVERY qualified and part qualified

finance role that we have coordinated exclusively since 2012.

97% of our temporary placements completed their assignments in full

or had the assignment extended in 2015.

>40% of our temporary placements in 2015 converted to

permanency during or upon completion of their interim assignment.

95% of our placements made since January 2013 remained in situ for

>12months, 90% of the placements made in that timeframe are still in

situ with the organisations they joined.

40% of our placed candidates are referred to the business through

our extensive network.
