Introduction:

We are going to discuss about three eLearning content creation softwares: Articulate series Raptivity series Lectora series

Articulate Series:

Articulate Studio:

Articulate Presenter is a program that acts as an “add-on” to Microsoft PowerPoint. Therefore, it capitalizes on what PowerPoint can do already, and provides several added features, such as quiz-making and audio sync.

There are 3 tools which are incorporated in the standard package (Studio): Presenter Quizmaker, which allows you to create interactive

quizzing that can be tracked through an LMS Engage, a tool that allows you to create some

standard “interactions” such as buttons that can be clicked to reveal content.

Articulate Storyline:

Storyline:Storyline is the new tool from Articulate, it’s not a replacement for Articulate Studio. Storyline is a standalone application, rather than something that works within PowerPoint (like Presenter). It also delivers content direct to Desktops and iPads without any republishing, just download the Articulate App.You can also output to HTML5 and iOS App (as well as Flash).You can also publish out to iPad and either view the HTML5 version via mobile Safari or for a native iOS experience , use the Articulate Mobile player app.

Raptivity Series:

Raptivity Series:

Raptivity is a rapid development software tool that comes with a library of pre-built templates, most of which are interactive. The pre-built templates provide a way to quickly assemble an interaction or presentation segment and publish it to a Flash (.swf) format.

You can use Raptivity to create a stand-alone course or you can import the published file into another tool, like Articulate Presenter or Adobe Captivate. The full Raptivity library of around a dozen products provides over 225 presentation and interactive templates for various audience groups. Many interactions are appropriate for adult learners, while others would only be appreciated by children.

It includes an internal content management system that makes course creation easy for the average computer user.Lectora’s Actions Palette enables users to create interactive learning objects using show and hide functionality, mouseovers, object visibility toggling, and more to engage learners with onscreen activities. Users can incorporate Variable Knowledge Objects with the Actions Palette to create branched learning scenarios for adaptive learning.Lectora features a set of automated tools, including Title Wizards, Spell Check, Automated Menu Builder and Reference Lists.
