IntroductionMy full name is Sharon Joyce Axelrod. My parents

chose that name because it means Princess Joy. I was born in Brooklyn on May 29, 1978. I lived there until I was 8, and then in Staten Island until college. Now, I live in Manhattan with my roommate, Jayde, and her cat, Blue.

I am very close to my family. My mother is a home health aid and my father is an accountant. I have a brother, a sister-in-law, and 17 month old niece. I also have a younger sister. My grandmother lives in Florida and will be 90 next year. My uncle lives in Washington, and my Aunt in Oregon.

Who I am todayI am a Technology Coach. My job is to help schools and teachers use Technology within their teaching. I love how technology can make teaching and learning more efficient and effective. Technology can help to engage students, create ways to demonstrate learning, and allow a teacher the creativity and flexibility they need to plan lessons.

Who I am todayI am an entertainment fan. I enjoy reading and am slightly obsessed with Harry Potter. I love cheering on the Yankees. I watch at least 8 movies each week, but my favorite movie is Jurassic Park. Out of the many hours of television I watch, playing along with Jeopardy is my favorite. I also love to listen to Oldies music, especially the Beach boys, Beatles, Supremes, and Elvis.

Plans for the FutureSomeday, I’d like to be a homeowner.

I’d like a house with a large living room so that I could have friends over for events like the Oscars, the World Series, or even just a Board game night. My house should also have a huge Kitchen and Dining room, and guest rooms so that I could have family visit for the holidays.

Plans for the Future

I would also like to travel around the world. I would like to visit famous historical sites like the Coliseum, Acropolis, and the Great Wall of China. I would love to go to museums, landmarks, and other attractions in places like Paris, London, and Venice. I also hope to visit the amusement parks around the world with the tallest, fastest, and scariest rides.
