Hello RoGo readers, In roblox game test, we were checking out the new feature that is coming soon to roblox, Fog! After talking to Telamon, who was in the game with us, we learned that you can change the color of the fog. So if you want green

spooky fog, bright white fog, or any color, you can! This could be found in Lighting once released. Some of you may be thinking, what does this fog do? It’s mostly used to help remove some lag caused by the terrain. So no more annoying lag

caused by those terrain games!

People have thought LUA is a whole different language! You can think of it like that, or you can think of it like a director for a play; things do whatever the script tells it to do. (In this case, the script controls the bricks and stuff in roblox.) Scripts

allows you to make your game move and stuff! With out it, we would just have models that do nothing. So learning LUA is the best thing you can do to get popular! :D

As in the picture, everything is in a category. You might be wondering why the player’s head and body is in the workspace.

The workspace is everything you see in the game. Blocks, meshes, and other things, including the people, are seen because they are in workspace. Players also have a service in Players. This has things like userID and more. Everything

in roblox has proprieties. You can change the brick color, size, position and more through properties. This brings us to are first chapter, the basics.

LUA is pretty easy once you know the basics. For an example, here’s a script to kill someone:

game.Workspace.spongebobworldonline.Humanoid.Health = 0

In the "Game," there’s the "Workspace." In the "Workspace," there is "spongebobworldonline."

In "spongebobworldonline," there is the "Humanoid," and in the "Humanoid" there is a property called "Health." I want it to equal ZERO. By changing the property to zero, it kills the player.

That’s what it pretty much does it. If you put the pieces together and add "." you get a script. :3

Reporter’s Corner:

Topic: New Theme

Hello again, RoGo readers! I am Team A's reporter, Roby, and here I am! Last time I reported, I spoke about the Halloween

theme. NOW, we jump into the NEW Christmas theme! :D. First, the new layout is kept the same as the new one during Halloween, as you noticed, after the change to the basic layout. Anyway, when sign OUT, the logo is again at its big size. The whole ROBLOX logo is covered in Christmas lights, mainly orange, green, & blue. Above it is small, packed lumps of

snow on each letter making the shape of the top edge. And as the grass usually, the ground is changed to snow, with trees scattered about the snow, with frequent patches of snow on the branches. To the left of the R, guess who makes all the

sweet little presents if you are nice? Santa! He's wearing the Santa package, a present hat, and a weird looking staff. Now, to the left of the X, we have one of the many helpers of Santa! An Elf! He has the elf package and the elf hat with ears. He is also holding a massive red/white cane with a red bow near the middle. The background of this theme goes from light blue at the top, to blue at bottom. Starting at the top, there are snow flurries. Near the navigation bar, most of the snowflakes

form off the sides. These snowflakes have various designs, shapes, and sizes! Then, fading into snow flurries again, then stops. Well, this is reporter Roby, for Team A, signing off! Enjoy the theme!

Questions and Answers: Question: How many total job appilcations are sent in when you are hiring? - Rovo3Answer: We get a lot. When we are hiring, we usually let people send in applications for a day. After that, the presidents count up the applications. We usually have 50+ applications. It shows how many people like RoGo. After we count them up, which takes hours, we look at each one to choose who gets the job, which takes hours too.

Question: How long does it take for you to finish the magazine? -Crazyplayer19Answer: We spend the two weeks in between each magazines writing the new issue. Most of the time, we don’t have to work on it since there are not any new gears or things to review. When we start putting together the magazine, it could take up to four hours just putting the Gui together.

1. What are you most known for on ROBLOX? -My aviation projects. I constantly trying to develop the most realistic aeronautic physics for ROBLOX.

2. What is your favorite thing to do on ROBLOX? -Script. It still is cool to see words typed out come to life in games.3. What is your favorite game on ROBLOX? -I think Nexx's Real Lift Tycoon is pretty cool. It simulates a real

economic system very well.4. How did you hear about ROBLOX? -My friend (gunner120 on here.) He found it by an ad.5. Do you have any tips for beginning scripters? -Don't rush anything. Take your time. Perfect the basics before

trying anything more advanced.6. What is your biggest goal on ROBLOX? -I actually have a pretty specific one. Basically, to create an extremely

realistic plane physics system. One of which is that is interchangeable and dynamic. My challenge is to simulate air resistance.
