WHY WE PUBLISH? THE KNOWLEDGE BANK

• We seek to increase understanding of development issues for our client countries, the development community, and the general public.

• Our publishing outputs cover a broad range of social and economic development issues with a focus on emerging economies.

• Research is performed by a research department (in-house economists and experts in other fields), by development practitioners working on the ground, and by external contributors.

• We don't have all the answers. Our publishing outputs are meant to enrich the development debate, inform policies, and support the development goals of our client countries.
