•An internship can last for minimum 6 and maximum 78 weeks
•Internship programs are Global Internship and Global Community Development
•An intern cannot take a second internship in the same organization or project

•An intern cannot go to exchange to a country where she/he has lived longer than 2 years during the last 10 years
•EP cannot be older than 30 years old and she/he needs to study in a Portuguese university
•An intern may participate in several internships abroad for a maximum of 36 months

•You have the right to break a match / end your internship if:
a) Documents or visa are delayed, received too late, or not at all
b) A family emergency

What if something goes wrong
•You have the right to break a match / end your internship if:
a) You become very ill and the situation is dangerous for your health
b) The area of the internship has become dangerous (i.e. war, natural disaster, terrorism, etc)

•You have the right to break a match / end your internship if:
a) The internship is completely different from the job description
b) You are discriminated against or sexually harassed in the workplace

Before fire a complain, please ensure that the case has tried to be resolved in the following manner:
Trying to resolve the situation between the TN Manager/ Organization and you (EP),
Trying to resolve the situation between the two LC’s
Trying to resolve the situation between the two MC’s
In case both the previous stages did not result in a prompt solution then the ICB is to be approached.
N.B: ALL THE RESOLUTION MUST BE BY EMAIL, NOT JUST TALKING. IT WILL SERVE AS PROOF IN ORDER TO MOVE TO THE NEXT STAGE
