Orientation Goals by January 13th
• You should:• Log in to the WebCT classroom• Log in to the KCC MOO and practice
chatting.• Get ready for online learning.
Online Learning Requires
• Be online approximately 3 hours per day, 3-4 days per week.
• Meet online at KCCMOO once a week:– Wednesday 9-10 p.m.
• Check the web classroom daily to keep track of your assignments.
For spring 2003
• Log in to webct and click on add course
• Choose KapCC
• Find your course’s name
• Click on THE “+” SIGN NEXT TO– CLICK ON THE REGISTER BUTTON– YOU WILL HAVE ADDED THE COURSE.
Preparing Your Computer
• Make sure your email and WWW browser 4.0 + access problems are solved. If they are not, do not consider taking an internet based class
• Practice word processing and saving to a folder on your hard drive that you set up for your work. Back up all your work.
• Practice copy and paste for word processed text to and from your email account.

• Remember the course is only 15 weeks long.
