Øya Festivalen 9th-12th AugustOne of Oslo's largest music festivals with a line-up that always includes big international names, promising newcomers and everything in between. Nature and culture meet in the festival area in Tøyenparken for four days of concerts, food, stalls and activities. On the night before the festival, Øya has a club night with lots of concerts at clubs and indoor venues in the city

Oslo Jazz Festival12th-19th AugustAnnual jazz festival with an emphasis on quality and history. You will find practically every genre represented at Oslo Jazz Festival, from ragtime to rap via main styles swing, bop and modern electric and acoustic forms. Oslo Jazz Festival was held for the first time in 1986, and presents about 80 events every year. After 30 years the festival has built a strong reputation among performers, their agencies and audiences alike for being a warm and professionally executed festival.

Classical Summer Concerts, Vigeland Museum, 2nd – 29th July at 14:00The Norwegian violinist Ole Böhn, true to tradition, holds a series of classical summer concert in the courtyard of the Vigeland Museum. All concerts start at 2 pm. Tickets are sold at the museum starting at noon the day of the concert. The ticket includes entrance to the museum. Summer Concerts in Drøbak with the International Ensemble, Saturdays at 12:00Drøbak Church will host a series of summer concerts each Saturday throughout July. TusenfrydNorway's largest amusement park located 20 kilometres south east of Oslo. EXHIBITIONSEkeberg Sculpture ParkThe sculpture and national heritage park offers a strong international art collection surrounded by beautiful scenery with many spectacular lookout points. Ekebergparken is always open, and is free to visit. There is also a museum (entrance fee) and a small art and design shop. Public guided tours during the summer season. Guided tours in the James Turrell's light installation Skyspace/Ganzfeld every Sunday throughout the year (closed at Christmas), starting every half hour.
