Program Highlights

Compared to academic master’s program, this professional master’s program attaches
importance to cultivating practical & innovative abilities through case studies. Students will
be involved in a large amount of project practices and internships in the second year.

Program Description
This project aims to prepare the student with solid theoretical foundation and extensive
knowledge in the specialty areas, helping them develop strategic vision, innovative thinking
and pioneering spirit as well as the abilities of decision-making, coordination and
organization, which are key for one to become a real international business talent in the
future.
The graduates can adapt to the changing environment of international market, familiar with
the main national policies for investment and trade, engage not only in international
business enterprises, but in government departments and research institutions .
The main research areas are: international investment theory and practice, international
business and management, etc. Certain advantages and characteristics lies in the research
and practice of international trade in the fields of textile and clothing.
Schooling & Graduation
Schooling: 2(two) years
Intake: each September(autumn semester)
1st academic year: full time courses learning, 34 compulsory credits and 10 elective credits
must be acquired.
2nd academic year: project practices, internships, thesis writing and defense.
Graduation: those who complete the required credits and internship/project practices,
finish the thesis and pass the defense will be granted a master degree.

Application
Application deadline: Jun. 30 (September intake only)
Eligibility: Non-Chinese citizen in good health, be a bachelor’s degree holder under the age of
forty(40).
Application Procedure
Official review: the official review includes the academic reviews from the School of
Business & Management and the relevant academic departments of Donghua University.
Conditional admission: A conditional Admission Notice will be issued to applicant who
gains approval from DHU but still has certain document(s) pending. These applicants must
submit required documents before the designated enrollment date in order to bring the
admission letter into effect; otherwise DHU will withdraw the admission and refuse one’s
enrollment.
Final result announcement DHU will email the applicant to announce the final result in at
most one month since the official review starts, then will prepare the admission package
and send by express to the admitted student. DHU will not take responsibility if the
admission package cannot reach the applicant due to unclear, incorrect or invalid contact
information provided by the applicant.

After DHU's preliminary review, an email will be sent to guide each applicant the next steps;
Submit the full set of required application materials (refer to “Application Materials”) and
pay CNY600 application fee for official review

General Information
Fill in DHU online application form: apply.ices.cn
ID photo
• Photo Requirements: recent bareheaded (within six months), full-face, white-color background, two-inch certificate
photo, instead of landscape photos or photos of daily life; in JPG format, less than 100K
Passport copy
• A clear copy of your valid passport with your name, photo, birth date, place of birth, date of issue, date of expiry
• Visa page is required for applicants who are not in their home country
Academic, Language Credentials, and CV
Bachelor's Degree Certificate and Transcripts:
• Copies of the original certificate with the university stamp and/or the signature of the principal. If the originals are
not in Chinese or English, they must be translated and notarized.
• For applicants who haven’t graduated, pending graduation certificate and transciprts available till the application date
are also acceptable. Offical graduation certificate and transcripts of all grades shall be submitted timely after being
received.
English-proficiency certificates:
• IELTS 6.0 or TOEFL IBT 80 or above received within the recent two years.
• Applicants whose native language is English or the medium of instruction was English during the previous university
do not need to provide these documents, but a letter issued by the university to certify the medium of instruction is
required.
Curriculum Vitae
• Written in English or Chinese, including your personal information, educational background, working or intern
experience, achievements so far, etc. CV template can be downloaded from english.dhu.edu.cn.
Personal Statement, Recommendation Letters
Personal Statement:
• Essay format written in English on one page of A4 size paper. Introducing why you are applying – your interests and
enthusiasm for the major, how your previous studies or experience relate to the major, as well as what makes you
suitable – any relevant skills, experience or achievements gained from previous education, work or other activities.
Two Recommendation Letters:
• Written in English or Chinese by two different professors or associate professors from previous academic institutions
or by work supervisors, etc.

Remarks
Applicants who have submitted pending documents (e.g. Graduate Certificate, HSK
Certificate, etc) are required to take the originals for verification on the enrollment day. If
the copies submitted are inconsistent with the originals, DHU reserves the right to withdraw
the admission.
Application materials and application fee cannot be returned under any circumstances. DHU
reserves the right to ask applicants for supplementary materials.
If the sending of admission packages fails due to invalid, incorrect or unspecific information
provided, applicants themselves shall bear the responsibilities.
Enhance Your English
To meet DHU language entry requirements within a shorter period, students can choose to enhance the
