IC data is split between multiple databases– BCDBS: Broadcast allotments– ALS: Licensing– REL: Certification

We anticipate creating an informal interpretation guide or Q&A as we receive feedback from implementation efforts
As we go, we expect to find data needing cleanup– Let us know if you spot anything peculiar

Contains listing of all broadcast allotments– Only active TV stations need be protected– This can be determined using the ‘status’ field
Entire database is posted for download– Updated overnight– A detailed user manual with information on database

Database of IC licensing information– Updated in real time– Can search by frequency range, download in various
formats including XML
For the TV bands, the ALS contains data on: LPA, RRBS and developmental licences

Database of certified radio equipment– Updated in near real time– Can search according to various fields
– By certification number will return information on a particular device (and would need to confirm its certifications include RSS 222)
– Radio Specification = “RSS222” (advanced search options) should return all TVWS devices
