• Difficult access to information and limited information sharing.

• Duplicate data entry and numerous versions of data created by individual agencies to meet their own needs.

• No spatial information for location of private land.

• No single authoritative source.

•Goal: Effective management of 95 million hectares (235 million acres) of land and water on behalf of all British Columbians.

•Numerous information silos managed by dozens of agencies

Historically:

Page 36: Integrated Land and Resource Registry Integrated Land Management Bureau

Manage Queries and NotificationsIn this section the following functionality is supported:– View query details– Copy a query– Modify a query– Delete a query– Create a Notification– Modify a Notification– Cancel a Notification– Receive a Notification

Page 37: Integrated Land and Resource Registry Integrated Land Management Bureau

Creating/Modifying a Notification• The Create Notification function

identifies a saved query that ILRR will monitor for any changes that occur within the record set defined by the query

• When a change occurs, ILRR will automatically inform you via an email for each change that has occurred (based on the notification parameters)

• Before a notification is created 4 conditions must be met:

– Current user must be the creator of the query

– Query must have a run date– Query run time must not exceed

maximum runtime allowed (60 seconds)

Page 38: Integrated Land and Resource Registry Integrated Land Management Bureau

Users can also create an “overlay report”

Page 40: Integrated Land and Resource Registry Integrated Land Management Bureau

An overlay report will allow users to query a number of resource layers from the Land & Resource Data Warehouse (LRDW), including the ICF “private” land layer.
