Michael Silverman presents the 2015 forecast.

Michael Silverman, MAI, MRICS is a Managing Director of Integra Realty Resources – Philadelphia. He has been actively engaged in real estate valuation and counseling since 1993 and has extensive experience working with the nation’s most prominent investors, developers, attorneys, and financial institutions.

Walter D’Alessio is currently Principal at NorthMarq Advisors, LLC. He also served as Vice Chairman of NorthMarq Capital and as a member of NorthMarq’s Board of Directors. At Legg Mason Real Estate Services (LMRES), he was Chairman and CEO.

About the IRR-Philadelphia Real Estate Leadership Award

The IRR-Philadelphia Real Estate Leadership Award is presented to honor an individual who has shown dedication to the betterment of the real estate industry through knowledge, experience, and service.

Walter D’Alessio has over 50 years of experience planning, developing, financing, and managing major real estate projects in Philadelphia, including 12 years as Executive Director of the Philadelphia Redevelopment Authority, and 10 years as the Executive Vice President of the Philadelphia Industrial Development Corporation. He has served in an advisory capacity to the Business School of Temple University and the Department of City and Regional Planning of the University of Illinois. He also received an Honorary Doctor of Science Degree from Drexel University in 2007. He has been recognized locally and nationally for various achievements including the Edward deLuca Memorial Award from the National Council for Urban Economic Development, the Citizen of the Year Award from the American Red Cross, and the Thomas E. Cahill Leadership Award from Roman Catholic High School.

Panelist: Daniel DiLellaDaniel M. DiLella is a principal of Equus Capital Partners, Ltd. serving as the Firm’s President and Chief Executive Officer. Under Mr. DiLella’sleadership, Equus has grown to become a multi-faceted national real estate investment company with expertise in development, investment, property management and asset management.

Panelist: Paul LevyPaul Levy is the founding chief executive of the Center City District, serving in that capacity since January 1991. The CCD is a $19.4 million downtown management district, which provides security, cleaning, place marketing, promotion, and planning services for the central business district of Philadelphia.

Panelist: Jerry SweeneyJerry Sweeney has served as President, Chief Executive Officer and Trustee of Brandywine Realty Trust since the Company’s founding in 1994. Mr. Sweeney has overseen the growth of Brandywine from four properties and a total market capitalization of less than $5 million to over 33 million square feet and a total market capitalization of approximately $5.0 billion.
