1Students will Learn:Objectives:To type a document in Microsoft Word and to save it.Use the Center button to center text.Use the Bold button to bold text.Use the Left Align button to align the text to the left.Use the Bullets key to create bullets.Use the Tab key to indent.2Students will Learn:Insert a pictureAdd a frame around a pictureAdd a captionSave a document3Staff Development

4Click the Center Tag, to center the heading

5Type Staff Development.

6Highlight the heading

7Bold the heading by pressing the B button on the left hand corner

8Deselect the heading

9Press the Enter Key and the cursor will go below the title

10Press the Align Text Left in the top middle of the screen

11Deselect the bold key by pressing B in the top left hand corner of the screen

12Press the Tab key on your keyboard to indent

13Type There are 3 branches of government:

14Press the Enter key and the cursor will go below.

15Press the Bullets icon in top of the screen. It is the A one. The B arrow is the bullet.

16Type Executive

17Press Enter and it will create another bullet under the word Executive

18Type Legislative

19Press the Enter key on the keyboard. It will create another bullet underneath the word Legislative

20Type Judicial

21Click the enter key to go down a line

22Press the Enter key again to create space.

23Press the Center key to center

24Click Insert to insert a picture.

25The Pictures come out

26Select 1Obama picture

27The picture comes out

28Right click the picture & pick the Line Style

29Pick 2 points in the Width column

30Pick Line Color to add color for the frame of the picture.

31Open up Line Color dialog box

32Pick the red color

33Press the Close button

34Right click the picture

35Click Insert Caption to add a caption

36Caption button comes up. Click Ok with current name.

37Caption is added

38Go to Office button

39Select Save As

40Click Word Document

41Save As dialog box comes out.

42Press the Save button to save it
