INSTRUCTIONS FOR INSTALLING THE BBB DYNAMIC SEAL ON YOUR ACCREDITED BUSINESS’ FACEBOOK PAGE

STEP 1 – You will need your BID#, primary email address and password. Log in to your exclusive member log-in page. If you need help, click here for a video tutorial. A) Click on the “BBB Seals and Logos” button option.

B) Then, click on the “Download BBB

seals and logo for your website”

STEP 2- You will need to select the color, style, and size of dynamic seal you would like to

display. You will go through the steps, and at the very end, HTML code for the seal will

display. You will need to copy this code and paste it into the appropriate box in Facebook.

STEP 3 – You will need a BBB Accredited Business Seal image to replace an existing image of an application

downloaded on Facebook. Please download the jpeg image found at the following link: click here for this image.

You will need to save this image somewhere easily accessible once logged into Facebook. STEP 4 – You must make sure that when adding the dynamic seal to a business Facebook page you have a personal account tied into that page. As long as you are an administrator this will work. If you are not, the search box seen below will not appear. Without that search box, you cannot add the Static HTML iframe app, which is key to making the seal work.

STEP 5 – Next, log into your Facebook account and go to the business’ main page. In the “Search” box,

search for and select “Static HTML: iframe tabs”.

STEP 6 – Once selected, this page will come up. You must then select “Add Static HTML to a Page”.

STEP 7 – Once selected, you will be returned to the business’ main page. You may automatically be taken back to this section or need to scroll down to this point. Next, you will want to rename the tab and also change the Static HTML: iframe logo. Click on the “triangle”, hover over the iframe logo, and click on the “pencil” select “Edit Settings”.

STEP 8 – Here, you will enter a “Custom Tab Name” of “BBB Business Review” or “Our BBB Rating”

and click on “Save” then “Okay”.

STEP 9 – To upload a “Custom Tab Image”, hover over the iframe logo, and click on the “pencil” select “Edit Settings”, select “Change” within that same Edit Static HTML: iframes tabs Settings window. Hover over the iframe logo, and click on the “pencil” select “Edit Settings The following page will display and again select “Change”. Within the Upload a Page Tab Image window, click on “Choose File” and search for the AB_Seal.jpg that you saved earlier. This is the image provided by BBB. Upload this image by clicking on “Open”.

STEP 10 – When completed, you will return to the business main page and click “Okay” to exit Edit Static HTML: iframe tabs Settings. Next, the HTML code for the dynamic BBB Accredited Business seal will need to be pasted into the Static HTML: iframe application. Click on the tab name (“BBB Business Review” shown below) and select “Edit tab”.

STEP 11 – This screen will appear, within the “Content” box, please paste the code copied from the BBB Dynamic Seal page and click on “Save & Publish”. Once saved, “all saved :)” You can then click on “Preview tab” to see how the seal will display to visitors.

STEP 12 – Installation is complete. Return to the business’ main page by clicking on the “back” shown below.

STEP 13 - Click on the “View tab in Facebook” shown below. Click on your business name to return to your Facebook business page

STEP 14 - When visitors visit the business’ Facebook page, she/he will click on the “BBB Business Review” or “Our BBB Rating” tab to reveal the BBB dynamic seal. When the seal is clicked, the BBB Business Review for that business will display.
