● Detects Smoke
INSTALLATION1. Since the smoke density generated in fires will rise in the air,
normally the detector is installed in a higher position. For
wall mounted, install at about 0.3-1.0m from ceiling. For
ceiling mounted, normally install at the ceiling center of the
protected area (refer to the following image)
2. Fix the detector base into a wall or ceiling with screws and
fasten the detector head on the base.
3. While installing at home, keep the detector away from your
gas stove to prevent flame roasting. Avoid installing in
places with heavy oil or smoke that may cause false alarm or
block the gas convection holes and influence the detector
sensitivity. Also do not install the detector near to exhaust
fans, windows, doors and in places with great vapor in
bathrooms.

PRODUCT INTRODUCTION
PRODUCT PROFILE
FEATURESThis product is a smoke detector. The smoke chamber using the
principle of smoke particles reflecting infrared lights can
accura te ly de tec t the ear ly smoke of a f i re . When
concentration of the smoke density reaches the given alarm
level, the detector LED flashes red and buzzer gives out alarm
sounds. Besides suitable for early warning and protection of
carbon monoxide leakages or fires in houses, villas, factories,
shopping malls, warehouses, office buildings etc. indoor
places, this unit has a subtle shockproof design, which makes it
also suitable for vehicle use.
OPERATING PRINCIPLE1. Insert 2pcs 1.5V AA batteries into the battery compartment.
The detector enters into normal working status. The green
LED flashes every 30S to indicate normal power supply.
2. The detector should be tested periodically during use. Short
press Test & Hush Button to run a test. The LED flashes Red
along with buzzer sounding for alarm indication. Do not test
the detector too often to save battery life. Once a month is
recommended.

1. Replace the batteries with new ones in time on low battery
condition to ensure normal operation.
2. No block within a radius of 0.5m from the detector.
3.The horizontal distance from the detector to the air
conditioner outlet should not be less than 1.5m.
4. If needs to install the detector in an aisle ceiling with a width
less than 3m, choose a center position. Keep the distance
between the detectors less than 15m. The distance from the
detector to the end wall should not exceed half of the
distance between the detectors.
5. Clean the detector surface with soft brush every month to
ensure sensitivity. Do not spray air-freshers, hair gels,
paints or other aerosols near the detector.
6. Do not use any detergents or solvents to clean the detector.
Chemicals may cause permanent damage or transient
pollution to the sensor.
7. For malfunction problems, contact your dealer. Do not
dismantle and try to repair it privately.
8. The detector can reduce accidents happening, but can not
guarantee a hundred percent safety. For safety consideration,
besides proper usage of the detector, pay attention to build
up safety consciousness and take preventive measures in
daily life.
9. Maintain the detector periodically as per requirements in this
manual.
EMERGENCY ALARM TREATMENTS
NOTES3. During alarming status, short press the Test & Hush Button.
Then the detector goes into mute status. The LED keeps
flashing red while the buzzer will stop sounding. If the
alarm status hasn’t been reset, the mute status will end
automatically in 10 minutes later. The buzzer sounds again.
If the alarm status is reset during the 10 minutes, the
detector recovers to normal working status.
4. The detector can auto check open circuit, short circuit and
other malfunctions in smoke chamber. During malfunction,
the LED flashes yellow, twice a minute along with buzzer
sounding to warn user.
5. When battery voltage < 2.4V, the detector will give out low
battery signal periodically. The LED flashes yellow, once
every 30s along with buzzer sounding. While the battery
voltage < 2.0V, the LED constant yellow and the detector
will restart in 32s due to low power. After warm-up and
rechecking the voltage, if still < 2.0V, operation repeats.
Treatments for smoke alarm:
1. Inspect the causes. If it is caused by cigarette smoking or
other reasons and not a fire alarm, just remove the smoke
resource and the alarm will reset. If it is a false alarm, check
if the installing position is improper.
2. If a fire breaks out, in the early stage, use a fire extinguisher
to put out the fire.
3. If the fire is large, don’t panic. Escape asap and then call the
police.
