(H),NippleWeldment(F),3/8"NPTUnion(E),andTubeConnector(D).

6. Un-screwtheOrificeFittingElbow(A)fromtheVenturiAirShutter.RemovetheorificefromtheFittingElbow.DiscardtheorificebutKEEPTHEFITTINGELBOWFORLATER.

1. SelectthecorrectOrifice(B)foryourapplicationfromTable 2and,usinga3/8"wrench,installitintotheOrificeFittingElbow(A)retainedfromthedisassemblysequence.DONOTuseanincorrectorifice.

2. InstalltheOrificeFittingElboww/OrificebackintotheVenturiAirShutter,pointingrearwards.

3. Usinga9/16"wrench,attachtheMillivoltTubeAssembly(C)totheMVValve(H)asshowninFigure 4.

4. FeedtheTubeAssemblythroughthefront-mostholeintheburnerlegasshowninFigure 4.

5. AttachtheValveBracket(G)totheburnerlegusinga5/16"hexdriverandthree#10x1/2"Screws(E)asshowninFigures 3 and 4.

6. AttachoppositeendofTubeAssembly(C)totheOrificeFittingElbow(A)usinga9/16”wrench.

7. Usinga1/4"hexdriverandtwo#8x3/8"Screws(D),attachthePilot(F)totheburnerbaseasshowninFigure 3.

8. AttachthePilotSupplyLinetotheValve(H)usinga7/16"wrench,(removebrassfittingfromvalve(H)beforeattachingPilotSupplyLine).See Figure 5.

9. NeatlyroutePilotSupplyLinesoitwillnotinterferewiththeFiberHeatSink.

10. RemovethetoggleswitchfromtheValveBracket(G)togainaccesstotheterminalsonthefrontofthevalve.

11. UsingaPhillipsscrewdriver,attachtheredandwhitePilotleadstothevalveterminalsasshowninFigure 5.

12. UsingaPhillipsscrewdriver,attachtheblackswitchleadstothevalveterminalsasshowninFigure 5.

13. Re-attachtheswitchtotheValveBracket(G).14. Attachthelightinginstructionplatetotheburnerleg

usingtheincludedlengthofchain.15. Returnburnerassemblytofireplace.16. ConnectgaslinetoBrassFlareElbowontopoftheValve.17. Compoundsusedonthreadedjointsofgaspiping

shallberesistanttotheactionofliquefiedpetroleumgases.Thegaslinesmustbecheckedforleaksbytheinstaller.Testingforleaksonallexposedconnectionsshouldbedonewithleaktestsolutionorasoapsolution.Aftertestingiscomplete,allsolutionshouldbecleanedoff.Onunexposedconnections,apressuretestshouldbemade.Neveruseanexposedflametocheckforleaks.Burnermustbedisconnectedfrompipingatinletofcontrolvalveandpipecappedorpluggedforpressuretest.Neverpressuretestwithfireplaceconnected;controlvalvewillsustaindamage!

18. Replacerockwoolonburnersurface.SeeburnerInstallationManualformoreinformation.

19. ReinstallFiberHeatSink20. Reinstalllogsaccordingtologinstructionmanual.21. Installationiscomplete.
