• Tightenwoodscrewsfirmly,butdonotovertighten.Overtighteningcandamagethescrews,greatlyreducingtheirholdingpower.

• Nevertighteninexcessof80in•lb(9N.M.).• Alwaysattachconcreteexpansionanchorsdirectly toload-bearingconcrete.

• Neverattachconcreteexpansionanchorstocon-cretecoveredwithplaster,drywall,orotherfinishingmaterial.Ifmountingtoconcretesurfacescoveredwithafinishingsurfaceisunavoidable,thefinish-ingsurfacemustbecounterboredasshownbelow.Besureconcreteanchorsdonotpullawayfromconcretewhentighteningscrews.Ifplaster/drywallisthickerthan5/8"(16mm),customfastenersmustbesuppliedbyinstaller.
