New Extended Depth Field CameraRicoh’s new Extended Depth of Field cameras have literally three times the depth of field that con-ventional cameras can offer at the same focal length, F-Stop and working distance without sacri-ficing resolution or brightness. Whilst conventional cameras re-quire the closing of the iris in or-der to achieve increased depth of field and therefore darken the im-age, the Extended Depth of Field Camera with specialised lens and camera technology (built-in image processor) enables the brightness of the picture to be maintained. Applications like production line inspection, that used to require multiple cameras or focus re-adjustment can now be captured with a single camera. The new series of extended depth of field cameras comprises of three different GigE Vision mod-els: VGA-Monochome, UXGA (2 Megapixel)-Mono-chrome and UXGA (2-Mega-pixel)-Color. An Extended Depth of Field system consists of the camera itself, a

special lens and camera firm-ware, which is adjusted at the factory to the lens used. In total there are eight lenses available with focal lengths of 8.5 mm, 12 mm and 35 mm and differ-ent F-Stops available.

Embedded-Vision-Systeme für OEM-AnwendungenHigh-Speed-Bildverarbeitung mit den VC-Z-KamerasDie Embedded-Systeme der Serie VC Z von Vision Components führen verschiedenste Bildverarbei-tungsprozesse völlig autonom aus. Die speziali-sierten Systeme aus Hardware und Software kön-nen durch Optimierung für bestimmte Aufgaben höchste Geschwindigkeiten erreichen. Sämtliche Modelle sind mit dem Zynq-Modul von Xilinx ausgestattet, einem ARM-Dual-Core-Cortex-A9 mit 866 MHz und integriertem FPGA. Das FPGA-Modul ist frei programmierbar und kann parallel zum Bildtransfer die Bilddaten verarbeiten und so den ARM komplett entlasten. Dadurch lässt sich die Systemleistung bis zu 20-fach steigern. Vision Components bietet für die ideale Umset-zung der jeweiligen Prüfaufgabe einen FPGA-Programmierservice für Serienanwendungen an.

Mit ihrer platzsparenden Bauweise und ge-ringen Leistungsaufnahme eignen sich die Embedded-Systeme insbesondere auch für An-wendungen mit beengten Einbauverhältnissen.

Die Platinenkamera, auf der die Serie basiert, hat ein Miniformat von nur 40 x 65 mm. Gehäuse-Versionen sind mit Größen ab 80 x 45 x 20 mm, mit Optiken und Beleuchtung sowie in kunden-spezifischen Ausführungen verfügbar.

Für alle VC-Z-Kameras stehen mehrere CMOS-Sensoren zur Verfügung, z.B. der IMX273-Sensor aus der Pregius-Baureihe von Sony mit einer Auf-lösung von 1,6 Megapixel (1.440 x 1.080 px). Bei den Platinenversionen haben Kunden zudem die Auswahl zwischen einem Onboard-Sensor oder ein bzw. zwei abgesetzten Sensoren.

Neue Hardware: Embedded Laser Profilsensoren für 3D-VisionDie jüngste Produktneuheit aus der VC-Z-Serie sind 3D Laser Profilsensoren in unterschiedlichen Aus-führungen für Arbeitsabstände von ca. 60 mm bis über 3 m. Die Embedded-Systeme bieten Scanraten bis 2 kHz. Sie haben eine 1-Gbit-Ethernet-Schnitt-stelle und sind optimal für Echtzeitanwendungen geeignet, beispielsweise für die Schweißroboter- oder Kleberaupenführung. Im Lasermodul wird ein leistungsstarker blauer Laser (450 nm) verwendet, der in Klasse 2 eingestuft ist, aber dennoch bei Umgebungslichtstärken von bis zu 100.000 Lux eingesetzt werden kann dank der neuartigen „Bright Light Compensation“-Technologie von

VC. Diese sorgt für optimale Sichtbarkeit auch auf anspruchsvollen Oberflächen und ist auch für Lebensmittelanwendungen wie z.B. die Volumen-messung in Schneid- und Portionieranlagen geeig-

net. CMOS-Bildsensoren der neuesten Generation gewährleisten hohe Bildqualität bei minimalem Rauschen. Aufgrund der großen Bandbreite an Mo-dellen ist das Spektrum der möglichen Auflösungen enorm: Auflösungen ab ca. 40 µm auf der X-Achse und 10 µm auf der Z-Achse, Sichtfeldbreiten bis 810 mm sind möglich.

Neue Software: VC LibQ für schnelle ApplikationsentwicklungVision Components stellt seine Embedded-Systeme zusammen mit einer umfangreichen Softwarebi-bliothek zur Verfügung. Die vorprogrammierten Funktionen erleichtern Entwicklern die Program-mierung und sparen viel Zeit bis zur Marktreife. Die VC LibQ enthält über 300 eigene Funktionen für alle gängigen Bildverarbeitungsaufgaben sowie darüber hinaus die gesamte Ausstattung der Halcon-Software von MVTec. Sämtliche Funktionen sind gründlich praxiserprobt: Beide Hersteller sind mit diesen Softwareprodukten bereits seit über 20 Jahren erfolgreich im Markt vertreten. Mit dem TomoScope XS steht jetzt die Technik der Großen im Format der Kleinen zur Verfügung. Der neue Gerätetyp vereint in einzig-artiger Weise viele Vorteile ver-schiedener Geräteklassen. Durch die Transmissionsröhre – erstmals im Monoblock-Design – wird ein kleiner Brennfleck auch bei hoher Röhrenleistung erreicht, sodass sich schnelle Messungen mit ho-her Auflösung durchführen lassen. Die neue Röntgenquelle kombiniert die Vorteile geschlossener und of-fener Mikrofokus-Röntgenröhren. Das Monoblock-Design von Röhre, Generator und Vakuumerzeugung wurde erstmals in offener Bauweise realisiert. Dadurch ergeben sich so-wohl lange Wartungsintervalle als auch eine theoretisch unbegrenzte Lebensdauer. Stillstandszeiten und Betriebskosten werden minimiert. Die maximale Röhrenspannung be-trägt 130 kV oder alternativ 160 kV, sodass auch Werkstücke mit grö-

ßeren Durchstrahlungslängen und dichtere Materialien gemessen wer-den können. Die luftgelagerte Dreh-achse sorgt durch eine hochpräzise Positionierung des Werkstücks für geringe Messunsicherheiten.

Aufgrund der kompakten Bau-weise und des damit verbunde-nen geringen Platzbedarfs sowie des geringen Gewichts kann das Tomo Scope XS nahezu überall

aufgestellt werden. Geringe An-schaffungs- und Betriebskosten erlauben eine schnelle Amortisation. Das zukunftssichere Konzept bie-tet die Möglichkeit einer einfachen Aufrüstung von Röntgenspannung und Leistung auf 160 kV bzw. bis 80 W am Aufstellort.

6D-Kamera für 3D-, Bewegungs- und FarberfassungDie Perception Camera mvBlueSirius ist ein optisches System, das Objekte in seiner Umgebung wahrnehmen kann. Die Aufgabe der mvBlueSirius ist es, bekannte Objekte wahrzunehmen Dazu beschreibt man die prinzipiellen Eigenschaften der Objekte, die erkannt werden sollen.

Die mvBlueSirius zeigt dann alle Ob-jekte mit 25 Hz bei voller Auflösung von 1.024 x 900 Pixel an und liefert Position (3D) und die Bewegungsvektoren (6D) der gefundenen Objekte, sowie Größe, Ausrichtung im Raum, den idealen Pick-Point. Dabei kann sie auch eng anein-ander liegende Packungen unterschei-den. Der Erkennungsbereich startet bei

ca. 800 mm und reicht bis 2.500 mm; ideal für die Verfolgung von Objekten im Raum oder für die Montage auf einem Roboter, der zunächst grob in der Ferne seine Palette sieht, um dann beim nähe-ren Hinsehen auch einzelne Schachteln

zu erkennen. Sollte die mvBlue Sirius ei-nen Schlag abbekommen oder durch das Transportsystem kontinuierlich durch-gerüttelt werden, stellt sie sich durch Selbstkalibration automatisch wieder richtig ein.

Die mvBlueSirius eignet sich ideal für den Logistik- und Automotive-Bereich, besonders für die Aufgaben Größen- und Volumenbestimmung von Objekten, die still stehen oder in Bewegung sind und für Pick & Place Aufgaben von kom-plexen Szenen, wie sie typischerweise bei einem Griff in die Kiste vorkommen. Durch die hohe Robustheit und Erken-nungsgeschwindigkeit lassen sich auch Roboter in Echtzeit führen.

Smart Vision Software jetzt auch als PC-VersionDas „mvImpact Configuration Studio“, kurz mvImpact-CS, wurde in der Re-lease Version 2.2 mit einer Vielzahl an Neuerungen veröffentlicht und ist nun auch als PC-Version verfügbar.

Bisher war es Anwendern der Smart Camera mvBlueGemini vorbehalten, mit mvImpact-CS ohne Programmier-Know-how und ohne Bildverarbeitungskennt-nisse komplette Inspektionsaufgaben visuell, schnell und kosteneffizient um-zusetzen. Durch die PC-Version lassen sich nun auch Inspektionen basierend auf PC und GigE Vision und USB3 Vision kompatiblen Industriekameras intuitiv und einfach mittels Wizards erstellen. Ein unkomplizierter und schneller Ein-stieg in die industrielle Bildverarbeitung ist somit auch dieser Anwendergruppe garantiert.

Mit dem neuen, optionalen „Halcon-Script“ Tool ist es jetzt möglich, Halcon-Skripte in mvImpact-CS zu laden und auszuführen. Dabei spielt es keine Rolle,

ob mvImpact-CS auf der Smart Camera oder auf einem PC läuft.

Darüber hinaus wurde das Tool „Ob-jekt vermessen“ um drei wesentliche Funktionalitäten erweitert: Erstens wurde die Abstandsmessung zwischen zwei Linien optimiert. Der Klickpunkt zur Selektion der zweiten Linie dient als Bezugspunkt für die Messung, womit der Ort der Messung bei nicht exakt paralle-len Linien eindeutig definiert ist. Zwei-tens kann der Schnittpunkt zweier Linien

als Ausgangspunkt für Entfernungsmes-sung genutzt werden. Drittens stehen die Bildränder als Ausgangspunkte für X- und Y-Vermessungen zur Verfügung.

Last but not least beinhaltet das neue Release zwei weitere Expertentools. Während mit dem Tool „Bild filtern“ die Bildqualität beispielsweise bei nicht optimalen Lichtverhältnissen optimiert werden kann, ermöglicht es das Tool „Blobs prüfen“, dass der Anwender im Bild Objekte detektieren, Objekte zählen und die Form sowie andere Eigenschaf-ten von Objekten prüfen kann.

Mehr Personensicherheit, mehr Produktivität: Safe Motion Control für FTS

Die Aufgabe von industriell eingesetzten FTS ist es, innerbetriebliche Materialflüsse sowie kom-plexe Transportprozesse im Produktions- und Lo-gistikumfeld effizient zu vernetzen und so – auch bei wachsenden Flexibilitätsanforderungen – das Ziel optimaler Produktivität zu unterstützen. Freie Fahrt bei freier Strecke, Vorsicht in Kurven und bei Personenverkehr, Geschwindigkeitsbegren-zung bei hoher Zuladung, sicher Anhalten bei Hindernissen und nach deren Entfernen einfach weiterfahren – was für den Straßenverkehr gilt oder empfohlen wird, lässt sich dabei grundsätz-lich auch auf den Betrieb von FTS übertragen. Eine solche Dynamik und Agilität der Fahrzeuge sind die Voraussetzungen, um deren Auslastung und Verfügbarkeit zu optimieren. Sicherheitstechnisch zertifizierte Produkte, die systemtechnisch aufei-nander abgestimmt sind, unterstützen eine solche Performancesteigerung. Zugleich gewährleisten sie – basierend auf der einsatzspezifischen Risi-koanalyse und geltenden Typ C-Normen – einen sicheren Betrieb der Fahrzeuge ohne Unfallge-fahren für Personen im Umfeld.

FTS und Umfeld: Mit Safe Motion Control alle Fahrszenarien erfassenUm einen sicheren Fahrzeugbetrieb zu gewähr-leisten, müssen unter anderem die Geschwin-

digkeit, der Lenkwinkeleinschlag und das Zula-dungsgewicht als sicherheitskritische Faktoren eines FTS berücksichtigt werden. Darüber hinaus ist auch die Abhängigkeit der Größen zueinander zu betrachten, denn bei hoher Geschwindigkeit hat eine schnelle und starke Richtungsänderung ganz andere Folgen als bei Schleichfahrt. Mit Safe Motion Control von SICK werden alle Einflussgrö-ßen erfasst, verarbeitet und die daraus situativ richtigen Sicherheitsfunktionen für und rund um das Fahrzeug aktiviert. Die hierfür eingesetzten, smart integrierten und sicherheitszertifizierten SICK-Komponenten sind die Sicherheitssteue-rung Flexi Soft mit dem Motion-Control-Modul FX3-MOC, sichere Encoder der Produktfamilie DFS60S Pro sowie Sicherheits-Laserscanner bei-spielsweise der Produktfamilien microScan3, S300 oder S300 Mini.

Die modulare Flexi Soft von SICK ist eine der am meisten verkauften Sicherheitssteuerungen im Markt der industriellen Sicherheitstechnik. Kompakt in der Bauform und durch verschiedene IO- und Relaismodule sowie Feldbus-Gateways applikationsgerecht konfigurierbar, ermöglicht sie auch für FTS-Anwendungen technisch maß-geschneiderte, in der Baugröße platzsparende und wirtschaftlich effiziente Lösungen. Das Motion-Control-Modul FX3-MOC gewährleistet

als Erweiterungsmodul für die modulare Sicher-heitssteuerung FlexiSoft die sichere Antriebsüber-wachung von mobilen Maschinen. Das Modul bietet eine Vielzahl von Sicherheitsfunktionen für FTS – von denen unter anderem SSM (für: Safe Speed Monitor, sichere Geschwindigkeits-überwachung), SLS (für: Safely Limited Speed, sicher reduzierte Geschwindigkeit), SLP (für: Sa-fely Limited Position, sicher begrenzte Position), SBC (für Safe Brake Control, sichere Bremsenan-steuerung) sowie SS1 (für: Safe Stop 1) und SS2 (für: Safe Stop 2) eine besondere Relevanz für Safe Motion Control besitzen. Der DFS60S Pro von SICK ist ein sicherheitszertifizierter Encoder zur Geschwindigkeitsmessung und Lenkwinkeler-fassung im Rahmen der sicherheitsgerichteten Antriebsüberwachung. Wahlweise Vollwellen-, Hohlwellen- oder Flanschausführung ermögli-chen einen flexiblen Motoranbau – und dank der Codescheibe aus Nickel sowie des vergrö-ßerten Kugellagerabstands erreicht der Encoder Bestwerte bei Vibrationsfestigkeit, Robustheit und Lebensdauer. Die Sicherheits-Laserscanner S300 – oder bei besonders beengten Einbau-verhältnissen S300 Mini – bieten bei einem Scanwinkel von 270° Schutzfeldreichweiten bis 3 Meter und Warnfeldreichweiten bis 12 Me-ter. Diese Felder können frei parametriert und

Fahrerlose Transportsysteme (FTS) – im Englischen Automated Guided Vehicles (AGV), die sich im gleichen Umfeld wie Personen bewegen, benötigen zum Schutz vor Unfällen sicherheitszertifizierte Sensorik- und Steuerungskomponenten. Gleichzeitig werden hohe Anforderungen an die Agilität und Verfügbarkeit der Fahrzeuge gestellt, um die Produkti-vität der Prozesse, in denen sie eingesetzt werden, zu optimieren. Als einziger Hersteller bietet SICK im Bereich Safe Motion Control eine sensor- und steuerungstechnische Sicherheits-Komplettlösung dieser Art für autonome Flurför-derzeuge an, die Personensicherheit und Produktivitätssteigerung optimal miteinander verbindet.

Erkennt der Laserscanner ein Hindernis in seinem Warnfeld, erhält die Fahrzeugsteuerung von der Flexi Soft die Anwei-sung, die Geschwindig-keit zu reduzieren

während der Transportfahrt von der Flexi Soft in Abhängigkeit von Geschwindigkeit, Position und Lenkwinkel umgeschaltet werden. Aufgrund ihres Überwachungsradius von 270° ist es möglich, mit zwei Sicherheits-Laserscannern in diago-naler Montage am Fahrzeug eine vollständige 360°-Rundumüberwachung der FTS einzurichten. Dies gilt auch für die neueste Generation von Sicherheits-Laserscannern, den microScan3, der mit seiner Reichweite von 5,5 Metern und dem Funktionsumfang „Pro“ gerade für den FTS-Ein-satz große Vorteile bietet. So können mit den bis zu acht simultan überwachbaren Schutzfeldern und 128 individuellen parametrierbaren Feldern des microScan3 Pro bis zu 128 Überwachungssze-narien applikationsspezifisch eingerichtet werden. Das Fahrverhalten von FTS lässt sich so in extrem feiner Abstufung überwachen – Transportprozesse sind dadurch in besserer Bewegungskontinuität mit weniger Stopps und somit höherer Produkti-vität ausführbar. Ein besonderer Zusatznutzen ist die Möglichkeit, die extrem präzisen Messdaten des Sicherheits-Laserscanners microScan3 für die Fahrzeugnavigation zu verwenden.

Geschwindigkeit, Lenkwinkel und Fahrwegsituation bestimmen das sichere Fahrverhalten des FTSInnerhalb der Safe-Motion-Control-Lösung von SICK ist die Sicherheitssteuerung Flexi Soft das zentrale Bindeglied zu allen im Fahrzeug ver-bauten Sicherheitssensoren wie beispielsweise zu berührungslosen Endschaltern, zu Not-Aus-Tastern, zu Sicherheits-Laserscanner und zu sicheren Encodern. Während ein DFS60S Pro auf der Motorwelle montiert den elektrischen Fahrantrieb überwacht, misst ein zweiter mit hoher Auflösung den aktuellen Lenkeinschlag. Die Lenkposition wird dabei zusätzlich mit weite-ren Parametern referenziert – beispielsweise den Signalen sicherer berührungsloser Endschalter. Die Flexi Soft mit dem Motion-Control-Modul FX3-MOC wertet diese Informationen aus und

aktiviert in den Sicherheits-Laserscannern die geschwindigkeits- und situationsgerecht pas-senden Überwachungsfälle – beispielsweise für gerade Streckenabschnitte, für Kurven oder für enge Fahrwege. Erkennt der Sensor ein Hindernis in seinem Warnfeld, erhält die Fahrzeugsteu-erung von der Flexi Soft die Anweisung, die Geschwindigkeit zu reduzieren. Parallel dazu überwacht das Motion-Control-Modul die Re-duzierung der Geschwindigkeit und passt die Warn- und Schutzfelder des S300, S300 Mini oder microScan3 dynamisch an. Bleibt das Hin-dernis bestehen, spricht das Schutzfeld an und stoppt das FTS – die Antriebe werden dabei durch das Motion-Control-Modul sicher überwacht. Ist der Fahrweg wieder frei, setzt das FTS seine Fahrt automatisch fort. Das Bremsen wie auch das Anfahren ist ein kontrollierter, elektronisch geregelter Vorgang, der einen effizienten wie auch schonenden Lasttransport ermöglicht und zudem den mechanischen Verschleiß am FTS selbst mini-miert. In Einsatzszenarien, in denen die Fahrzeug-steuerung zusätzlich zu den Sicherheits- auch Navigationsinformationen verarbeitet, können die Fahrzeuge bestehende Hindernisse auch umfahren oder andere Streckenabschnitte wählen.

Faktor Zuladung kann berücksichtigt werdenBei bestimmten Fahrzeugkonzepten und Betriebs-bedingungen kann zusätzlich zur Geschwindig-keit, zum Lenkwinkel und zur Fahrwegsituation auch der Beladungszustand entscheidend für die sichere Überwachung und Steuerung von FTS sein. Auch hierfür bietet Safe Motion Control eine passende Lösung. Mit dem sicheren ana-logen Eingangsmodul FX3-ANA0 kann die Flexi Soft auch analoge Signale wie beispielsweise von Wägezellen oder Drucksensoren, die durch das Messen des Hydraulikdrucks einer Hubgabel das Ladungsgewicht erfassen, auswerten. Diese sicherheitsrelevante Analogsignalauswertung er-möglicht es, gewichtsproportionale maximale

Geschwindigkeiten vorzugeben und effiziente Warn- und Schutzfeldkonfigurationen zu setzen.

Service und Support begleiten smarte und sichere Automatisierung von FTSDa beim Einsatz von FTS und anderen, selbstfah-renden und autonom navigierenden Fahrzeugen kaum ein Anwendungs- und Umfeldszenario dem anderen gleicht, bieten die Möglichkeiten im Be-reich Safe Motion Control die notwendige Flexibi-lität, um sich entsprechend sensorisch und steue-rungstechnisch anzupassen. Der Rugged Computer von Syslogic er-füllt die Schutzklasse IP67. Damit hält er Situationen stand, in denen herkömm-liche Embedded Systeme längst kapi-tulieren. Der robuste Industrierechner kommt in Baumaschinen wie Gradern, Radladern, Minenfahrzeugen oder Bull-dozern zum Einsatz.

Die Embedded-Spezialistin Syslogic bietet mit ihrem Rugged Computer einen lüfterlosen Industrierechner, der eigens für den mobilen Einsatz unter Extrembedingungen entwickelt wurde. Der Rugged Computer dient als Daten-logger, Steuerungs- und Controlrechner, zur Datenerfassung oder für die Fahr-zeug-zu-Fahrzeug- oder Fahrzeug-zu-Infrastruktur-Kommunikation.

Ein weiteres Merkmal des Rugged Computer ist die galvanische Isola-tion der Schnittstellen. Dadurch ist die Elektronik selbst im Fall von großen Po-tenzialunterschieden, z. B. verursacht durch lange Kabel, vor Beschädigungen geschützt.

Wärmebildkamera mit konzentrierten VorteilenDie neue Wärmebildkamera DiaCAm2 C.A 1954 glänzt durch ihre besonders einfache Bedienung und ergonomische Handhabung. Ihre Akkubetriebsdauer beträgt außergewöhnliche neun Stun-den. Mit ihrem Infrarot-Sensor von 160 x 120 und dem fokussierfreien Objektiv mit 38° x 28° Sichtfeld ist diese Wär-mebildkamera unter anderem perfekt für elektrische und mechanische War-tungsarbeiten geeignet.

6D-Kamera für 3D-, Bewegungs- und FarberfassungDie Perception Camera mvBlueSirius ist ein optisches System, das Objekte in seiner Umgebung wahrnehmen kann. Die Aufgabe der mvBlueSirius ist es, bekannte Objekte wahrzunehmen Dazu beschreibt man die prinzipiellen Eigenschaften der Objekte, die erkannt werden sollen.

Die mvBlueSirius zeigt dann alle Ob-jekte mit 25 Hz bei voller Auflösung von 1.024 x 900 Pixel an und liefert Position (3D) und die Bewegungsvektoren (6D) der gefundenen Objekte, sowie Größe, Ausrichtung im Raum, den idealen Pick-Point. Dabei kann sie auch eng anein-ander liegende Packungen unterschei-den. Der Erkennungsbereich startet bei

ca. 800 mm und reicht bis 2.500 mm; ideal für die Verfolgung von Objekten im Raum oder für die Montage auf einem Roboter, der zunächst grob in der Ferne seine Palette sieht, um dann beim nähe-ren Hinsehen auch einzelne Schachteln

zu erkennen. Sollte die mvBlue Sirius ei-nen Schlag abbekommen oder durch das Transportsystem kontinuierlich durch-gerüttelt werden, stellt sie sich durch Selbstkalibration automatisch wieder richtig ein.

Die mvBlueSirius eignet sich ideal für den Logistik- und Automotive-Bereich, besonders für die Aufgaben Größen- und Volumenbestimmung von Objekten, die still stehen oder in Bewegung sind und für Pick & Place Aufgaben von kom-plexen Szenen, wie sie typischerweise bei einem Griff in die Kiste vorkommen. Durch die hohe Robustheit und Erken-nungsgeschwindigkeit lassen sich auch Roboter in Echtzeit führen.

Smart Vision Software jetzt auch als PC-VersionDas „mvImpact Configuration Studio“, kurz mvImpact-CS, wurde in der Re-lease Version 2.2 mit einer Vielzahl an Neuerungen veröffentlicht und ist nun auch als PC-Version verfügbar.

Bisher war es Anwendern der Smart Camera mvBlueGemini vorbehalten, mit mvImpact-CS ohne Programmier-Know-how und ohne Bildverarbeitungskennt-nisse komplette Inspektionsaufgaben visuell, schnell und kosteneffizient um-zusetzen. Durch die PC-Version lassen sich nun auch Inspektionen basierend auf PC und GigE Vision und USB3 Vision kompatiblen Industriekameras intuitiv und einfach mittels Wizards erstellen. Ein unkomplizierter und schneller Ein-stieg in die industrielle Bildverarbeitung ist somit auch dieser Anwendergruppe garantiert.

Mit dem neuen, optionalen „Halcon-Script“ Tool ist es jetzt möglich, Halcon-Skripte in mvImpact-CS zu laden und auszuführen. Dabei spielt es keine Rolle,

ob mvImpact-CS auf der Smart Camera oder auf einem PC läuft.

Darüber hinaus wurde das Tool „Ob-jekt vermessen“ um drei wesentliche Funktionalitäten erweitert: Erstens wurde die Abstandsmessung zwischen zwei Linien optimiert. Der Klickpunkt zur Selektion der zweiten Linie dient als Bezugspunkt für die Messung, womit der Ort der Messung bei nicht exakt paralle-len Linien eindeutig definiert ist. Zwei-tens kann der Schnittpunkt zweier Linien

als Ausgangspunkt für Entfernungsmes-sung genutzt werden. Drittens stehen die Bildränder als Ausgangspunkte für X- und Y-Vermessungen zur Verfügung.

Last but not least beinhaltet das neue Release zwei weitere Expertentools. Während mit dem Tool „Bild filtern“ die Bildqualität beispielsweise bei nicht optimalen Lichtverhältnissen optimiert werden kann, ermöglicht es das Tool „Blobs prüfen“, dass der Anwender im Bild Objekte detektieren, Objekte zählen und die Form sowie andere Eigenschaf-ten von Objekten prüfen kann.

General Terms and Conditions for Advertisements, Supplements, Digital and Online Advertising1. These General Terms and Conditions shall apply to all contracts (hereinafter referred to as “orders”) relating to the publication of one or several adverts of one advertiser (hereinafter: “client”) in the magazines of Wiley-VCH GmbH & Co. KGaA (hereinafter: “publisher”) for the purpose of dissemination and relating to the placement of online advertising on the publisher’s websites. They shall also apply to orders for third-party supplements in the magazines published by the publisher. The client acknowledges these General Terms and Conditions upon placing an order.2. Diff ering, confl icting or supplemental general terms and conditions of advertising clients will not be recognized as an integral part of the contract, unless the publisher expressly agrees to them.3. The following shall apply to clients wishing to place more than one advert: The discounts shown in the advert price list are only granted for advertisers’ adverts which appear in a printed product within one year. The timescale begins on the date of appearance of the fi rst advert, unless a diff erent start date has been agreed in writing upon signing of the contract. The size of discount is based on volume. If, within a year, fewer adverts are taken than originally agreed, the publisher shall be entitled to re-calculate the discount based on the diff erence between the actual and guaranteed number taken.4. Upon contractual signing, the client shall be entitled to release further adverts in addition to the volume stated in the order within the agreed timeframe or that stated in clause 3.5. Order cancellations must be issued in writing. The cancellation charge imposed in the case of cancellation on the deadline date for the placement of the advertisement (or thereafter) is the total order value. In each specifi c instance, however, the client is expressly granted the right to provide proof that the contractor suff ered no loss, or at any rate only a lower loss.6. Orders for adverts and other marketing material to be published specifi cally and exclusively in specifi c issues, specifi c publications or in specifi c places in the publication must reach the publisher in suffi cient time – i.e. not later than on the date specifi ed in the order confi rmation – for the client to be able to be informed before the advert deadline of whether the order can be executed in the requested manner.7. Adverts and online advertising not directly recognizable as adverts because of their editorial layout will be clearly marked with the word “Advert” by the publisher.8. The publisher reserves the right to reject advert orders – including individual adverts under a blanket contract – or orders for inserts, on grounds of content, origin or technical format, under its own standard and factually justifi ed principles if the content of such orders contravenes legal or regulatory stipulations or if their publication is unacceptable for the publisher. This applies to orders submitted to branch offi ces, receiving agencies or representatives. Orders for inserts are only binding for the publisher once the insert template has been submitted and approved. Inserts which, due to the format or appearance, may appear to the reader to be part of the newspaper or magazine, or which contain third-party adverts, shall not be accepted. Rejection of an order shall be communicated to the client without delay. In such cases, the publisher reserves the right to request repayment of any discounts granted.9. The client is responsible for punctual delivery of proper ready-to-print material or supplements or for punctual delivery of materials required for online advertising. In the case of digital ready-to-print material the client undertakes to deliver proper artwork, complying in particular with the format or the technical specifi cations of the publisher, punctually for the print material deadline. The publisher shall request replacement for recognizably inaccurate or damaged printing material without delay. The publisher guarantees print quality customary to that of the title concerned within the scope of the possibilities of the printing material. Before a digital transmission of artwork, the client is responsible for ensuring by means of suitable technical measures that the transmitted fi les are free of any computer viruses. Should the publisher discover computer viruses in a fi le transmitted by e-mail, said fi le will be deleted immediately without the possibility of the client making any related claims.10. Discernibly unsuitable or damaged ready-to-print material and/or advertising material is to be replaced by the client immediately when reque-sted to do so by the publisher. The cost of producing ordered ready-to-print material and/or of producing ordered advertising material as well as of substantial alterations to originally agreed versions that are requested by the client and for which the latter is responsible due to the technical quality of the ready-to-print material and/or advertising material supplied will be borne by the client. Should any defi ciencies in the ready-to-print material and/or advertising material not be immediately discernible during the review process, but only become discernible in the printing operati-on and/or upon insertion, the client is not entitled to raise any claims on account of an inadequate printout and/or poor insertion.11. Print documents will only be sent to the client if specifi cally requested. The obligation of safekeeping ends three months after expiry of contract.12. In the case of audio and/or video linked advertising (e.g. banners that cause a pop-up window to open when clicked on, in which audio and/or video content is reproduced) the client is responsible for ensuring that the necessary approvals from GEMA [society for musical performing and mechanical reproduction rights in Germany] or other copyright associations and/or owners have been obtained.13. The client shall be entitled to a reduction in payment or a corrected replacement advert in cases of fully or partly illegible, incorrect or incom-plete printing of adverts, but only to the extent that the purpose of the advert is aff ected. This shall be excluded if the defect results from incorrect ready-to-print material (see clause 10 above). Should the publisher allow the timeframe given to him to elapse or should the replacement advert still be incorrect, the client shall be entitled to a reduction in payment or cancellation of the contract. Complaints – except if defects are not obvious – must be asserted within four weeks from receipt of invoice and proof.

14. (1) The client’s claims for damages shall be excluded unless provided for otherwise hereinafter. This exclusion of liability shall also apply in favour of the publisher’s legal representatives and vicarious agents in the event that the client asserts claims against them.(2) Claims for damages on account of death, injuries or adverse health eff ects as well as claims for damages caused by a violation of essential contractual obligations shall be exempt from the liability exclusion in paragraph 1. Essential contractual obligations shall mean obligations, the fulfi lment of which is necessary in order to achieve the objectives of the contract, Liability for damages caused by intentional or grossly negligent breaches of obligations on the part of the publisher, his legal representatives or vicarious agents shall also be exempt from the liability exclusion.(3) The provisions of the German Product Liability Act (ProdHaftG) shall not be aff ected by the above.15. Sample print-outs will only be provided where specifi cally requested. The client shall be responsible for the correctness of the returned samp-les. The publisher shall observe all error corrections made known to it within the period specifi ed upon sending the sample. Should the client fail to return within the specifi ed period a sample sent on time by the publisher, approval for print shall be deemed to have been given.16. Unless any specifi c sizing requirements have been given, the amount to be charged shall be calculated based on the print size that is normal for the type of advert.17. The client avouches that his is the unconditional owner of all rights of use to the advertising material necessary for publication and distribution. In this respect he indemnifi es the publisher from all claims by third parties, and grants the publisher the rights of usage necessary for publication of the advertising material.18. The client avouches that he is entitled to set the hyperlinks connected to the online advertising. The client furthermore affi rms that he will abide by the applicable data privacy legislation – in particular of the Federal and the Teleservices Data Protection Act– and also impose such a responsibility on their employees. Should the client use special techniques such as cookies or tracking pixels to obtain or collect data from the insertion of advertising material in the online off ering of the publisher, the client also affi rms that they will abide by the precepts of the German Telemedia Act (TMG) and/or of the Interstate Broadcasting Treaty (RfStV) as well as the Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) in the collection, processing and use of personal data.19. Should the client fail to pay in advance, the invoice shall be sent immediately or within a maximum of fourteen days after publication of the advert. The invoice must be paid within the period given in the price list, starting from the date of receipt of invoice, unless a diff erent payment period has been agreed in individual cases.20. In the event of a delay or deferral in payment, interest and recovery costs shall be added to the amount due. In the case of payment delay, the publisher may withhold further publication under the order concerned until payment is made and demand advance payments for the remaining adverts. Where there is established doubt over the client’s ability to pay, the publisher shall be entitled, even during the duration of an advertising contract, to make the publication of further adverts dependent on the prepayment of the sum due and the settlement of outstanding invoices, regardless of the payment terms originally agreed.21. The publisher shall provide, upon request, a copy of the advert along with the invoice. Depending on the type and scope of advertising contract, advert extracts, record pages or full record numbers will be provided. If a record can no longer be created, it will be replaced with a legally binding certifi cation from the publisher of the publication and distribution of the advert.22. In the event of a reduction in circulation, a price reduction may be claimed for contracts for a series of adverts if, in the overall average of the insertion year of the fi rst advert, the average circulation stated in the price list or stated any other way or, if a circulation fi gure is not given, the ave-rage number of issues sold (for trade magazines, where appropriate, the average actual distribution) in the previous calendar year is not exceeded. A reduction in circulation is only deemed as a defi ciency eligible for a price reduction if it amounts to– 20% for circulation of up to 50,000 copies– 15% for circulation of up to 100,000 copies– 10% for circulation of up to 500,000 copies– 5% for circulation of up to 500,000 copies.In addition, claims for price reductions are excluded for contracts if the publisher has given the client suffi cient notice of the reduction in circulation for the client to be able to cancel the contract before publication of the adverts.23. The publisher shall not be responsible for any delays in performance caused by unforeseeable events which the publisher cannot infl uence (such as strikes, lock-outs, disruption of operations, etc.). After the cessation of such events, the publisher may either publish adverts in the next possible issue of the printed work or online advertising medium, or withdraw from the contract – entirely or in part. In this context, the client shall not be entitled to claim damages.24. The place of performance and exclusive place of jurisdiction for all disputes shall – to the extent permitted by law – be the publisher’s head-quarters, at present Weinheim, Germany.25. The legal code of the Federal Republic of Germany shall be applicable under exclusion of the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods.
