Product Overview
Application Range
The series 17Y1 equipped with inserts is used for threads larger than Ø42 mm.
The tool series is realized by a manageable number of basic cutter bodies, whereby the variety of threads is realized with the differently ground inserts.
Circular thread mills are used in single and also in mass production, whereby the large variety of adaptions and insert geome-tries allow a wide range of machining applications.
Advantages
The milling system presented here offers you a process-reliable, flexible and cost-effective solution for your varied thread appli-cations in the diameter range from 42 mm.
The here presented circular thread mills of 17Y1 series with screw-in and Innofit adaption will replace the current catalog series 17Y1 with ABS adaption.
The screw-in and Innofit adaptions offer significant advantages over the ABS adaptions in terms of stability, accuracy and flexi-bility of the adaption systems.
In many areas customers already use our screw-in and Innofit adaptions, so that no additional adaption system is explicitly required for the circular thread mills.

Attention! These approximate values must be adjusted to meet the appropriate conditions! For very deep threads it is advisable to cut the thread in 2 passes.
