INGEMBP is a cutting-edge engineering firm founded and lead by Eng. Mario Bassignana, specialized in the multi-disciplinary integrated design of advanced architectural envelopes, lightweight structures and transparent skins.

INGEMBP know-how can actively support the architectural project of unconventional envelopes and structures at every stage: from conceptual design to construction detailing and production management, leading to successful built results through the development of tailor designed solutions.

INGEMBP can provide the full set of services required for the production of architectural envelopes and structures: accurate FEM analysis of linear and non-linear structural solutions, computer simulations of thermal and acoustic behavior, 3D and 2D construction drawings and documents, fully integrated with architectural and plants schemes, shop drawings and input files for CAD/CAM production.

INGEMBP expertise, based on a 25-year track record, ranges from structural glass and advanced materials (ETFE, PTFE) envelopes to lightweight steel and aluminum spatial frames, cable stayed facades and pneumatic structures.

During the course of his 25 years distinguished experience in the field of special structures and unconventional architectural envelopes Mario Bassignana has given INGEMBP his distinctive mark: integrating structural intuition, advanced software analysis and technological experimentation into formally refined solutions, as witnessed by the many successful collaborations with world-wide renowned architectural firms, such as RPBW, RFR Paris, Ove Arup, Bucholz-McEvoy.At present the unique design philosophy and values of INGEMBP are shared by Senior Partners Marco Bertelli (Engineer), as well as by many collaborating architects and engineers.
