Principal’s Report Dear Parents and Carers, Well done to the students in Years 3 and 5 who did NAPLAN last week. We look forward to the results later in the year.

Thank you to all of the parents who volunteered to assist on the day and to the staff who helped organise and run such a successful event. The Zone cross country will be held this Friday 21st May, in Mulwala.

We have our school Open Day for parents of 2022 enrolments on Wednesday, 26th May, from 9:30am until 11:00am. If you know of anyone whose child may be eligible to start school next year please encourage them to attend, otherwise make an appointment to see our fabulous school.

Some of the restrictions around COVID-19 continue to be relaxed but we are reminded that this can change very quickly. All parents who come into the school grounds are asked to please come in through the front office, sign in and scan the QR Code. We are all reminded to:

• Wash Hands often • Bring a drink bottle • Stay Away when sick and get tested if you have flu like symptoms • Encourage good hand hygiene practices and remind your children to cough and sneeze into their elbow. • Keep up-to-date with the latest health information by monitoring the NSW Government website.

This week in the STEM lab our students are examining the features of plants and how they survive. STEM, which is an acronym for Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics facilitates collaboration, creativity, communication and critical thinking.

As the colder weather creeps in we find our store in URGENT need of winter clothing, coats and blankets. All donations are greatly appreciated. Please drop donations in to our local store, 29 Main Street Cobram.

P&C News The P&C wish to thank all parents/carers who helped with the wrapping afternoon and selling gifts during our Mothers’ Day stall. Your assistance was greatly appreciated and contributed to the success of this great fundraiser for our students.
