Information Pool Structure

Information Pool consists of (unlimited) space in CERNcentral Oracle database and CMS Web server space (fewGbyte). Central Database is filled by direct applications(AFEB, ALCT, Cables etc.) and by local FAST sitesdatabases (chambers and boards tracking). Test results fromFAST sites (as a set of files for each chamber) are saved onlocal Web spaces (where ISR uses central Web space as alocal one). In a time (if necessary) the important results fromtests will be decoded from files and uploaded into CentralDatabase for subsequent use in the experiment. Web space isalso used for presentation of activities at CERN and simpleaccounting of equipment at ISR (“Inventory on Web”).
