1. All students will get a chance to try all subjects
for 2x5 week taster sessions.
2. Students will then be asked to choose their choices
based on the taster options
3. Where places are limited preference will be given to students
based on their initial subject choice form

• Change to Lunchtime – 1st & 2nd yr - in school 3rd yr - downtownTuesdays, 4th, 5th & 6th yrs downtown – 30 mins approx.
• Lunchtime 1.15 – 2.00pm each day
• Finish time – Mon & Tues 4.00pm, Wed, Thurs, Fri 3.20pm

The Office Hours of Presentation Secondary School are
8.30 am – 4.30 pm Monday – Friday during the school term
Urgent and Emergency matters can be dealt with during those

Parent Nominations to BOM
• The term of the current Board of Management of Presentation Secondary School will come to a close this September. A new Board will be appointed for a three-year term.
• The process for the election of persons to the Board of Management of this school is governed by the Education Act 1998. As stated in the act, the parent body has a right to nominate two members to the new board, one male and one female.
• Nominations for these positions will be accepted on the form overleaf. If you would like to put your name or the name of another parent forward, please fill out the attached slip and return to my office in a sealed envelope marked (BOM Nomination).
• In the event of more than one name being put forward for each position there will be an election. The election will take place by ballot during the AGM of the Parents Council. This meeting will take place in the school on Monday 23rd September 2019 at 7.30 pm.
• All parents/guardians of the students in Presentation Secondary School have a vote.
Presentation Secondary School–What does it cost?
• Parental Contribution €60 – Renovation, painting, furniture, computers, specialist rooms
Our wish list - new entrance, pitch, school heating system, renovation of all school bathrooms.
• Administration Fee €60 - Insurance, Lockers, School Journal, postage and texting
You will also have to consider;
• Books, Copies, Calculators, Subject Kits, Exam papers etc.
• Uniform, pocket/lunch money & transport
