Research Directions
The shift from the book to the Internet as the primary source of information has brought multiple challenges for literacy education including effective and efficient navigation, critical evaluation of information, synthesizing information for learning, and communicating new knowledge. All of these aspects are imbued with ethically and socially responsible use of information.
