Now in its ninth year, the Asia-Pacific Wealth Report from Capgemini and RBC Wealth Management looks at the behavior of high net worth individuals (HNWIs) and the responses of wealth management providers in 11 core markets: Australia, China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, South Korea, Thailand, and Taiwan. In 2013, Asia-Pacific registered world-leading population and wealth growth with no signs of slowing down. Asia-Pacific HNWI wealth grew 18% to reach a record high of US$14.2 trillion in 2013 while HNWI population in the region grew 17% to reach 4.3 million.TRANSCRIPT
