Industrial Visit @ STPI – Gandhinagar (27-Feb-2016) Infotainment Club of Faculty of Computer Application at Marwadi Education Foundation recently organized an Industrial Visit @ STPI (Software Technology Parks of India) – Gandhinagar Software Technology Parks of India is an autonomous society under Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, Govt. of India with the objective of encouraging, promoting and boosting the Software Exports from India. Shri Dinesh Bhagat, Deputy Director of STPI – Gandhinagar and his team managed entire Industrial Visit @ STPI with his expertise to explain all the details in two various groups as follows :

1) Group for Presentation of STPI to know objectives & functions of STPI 2) Group for showing how STPI – Gandhinagar Data Centre works

STPI officials explained how they promote export of Software and Services:

- Single Window Clearance to Software exporting units - Fiscal benefits - Infrastructure support (Data communications and Incubation) - Interface between Govt. and Industry

After visit of STPI, all the students visited Akshardham Temple and Kankaria Zone for leisure activities. Total 89 students took part in Industrial Visit from MCA and Integrated MCA course. Prof. Nilesh Advani – Team Leader of Infotainment Club organized entire industrial visit under the guidance of Dr. R. Sridaran – Dean, FCA.
