Loval designs and produces a wide range of industrial DN-flanged heaters for air, gases and steam. Heaters are optimized according to customer specifications. Loval heaters can include vessel, terminal box, fixing devices, connection and insulation. Installation of DN-flanged heaters is therefore very easy and quick.
Dimensioning is based on required power and flow rate. Materials can be chosen from unalloyed and alloyed steels. Temperature control and over temperature cut-outs can be added to the heaters.
Typical applications include engine pre-heaters, industrial process heaters and tempering units.

Specialized in VACUUM BRAZING
Vacuum brazing process is a unique method to join parts. During the brazing process the braze material melts and flows into a joint by capillary force, creating a gas-tight seal. Brazing temperatures are between 900 – 1200 degrees under vacuum of one millionth of atmospheric pressure (<0,001 mbar). Vacuum brazing does not require any flux or other additives and therefore no cleaning or passivating processes are required.

Vacuum treatment ensures that brazed units do not react with the ambient gases, ensuring high quality seam. Brazing operation can be carried out not only in vacuum but also in shield gas atmosphere. All Loval vacuum furnaces can use nitrogen and the latest one also argon and hydrogen as shield gas. The latest brazing method at Loval is diffusion brazing which allows joining of components without filler metals.
