Recruitment Consultancy Industry Overview Despite difficult market conditions, the U.K recruitment industry is still growing. The data from Recruitment Industry Trends Survey of the Recruitment and Employment Confederation (REC) shows the total industry turnover in 2013 was £26.5 billion. In 2013, nearly 1.8 million people were helped to find a permanent job or a temporary or contract assignment. The survey predicts that entire industry will growth about 25% between 2015 and 2016. This report will analyse three companies that are operating in recruitment industry, and make an informed decision on the best company for investment. The three companies to be analysed are Michael Page International Recruitment Limited, Capita Plc., and Hays Plc. They are all listed on the Main Market - London Stock Exchange (LSE). They will be analysed more detail in following sections. First, however, we will look at general information of each company. Michael Page The company was established in the U.K in 1976, as a two- man operation above a laundrette. The company was fist listed on LSE in April 2001 under LSE:MPI. Total market capital is currently estimated nearly £1.3 billion. At the present, it has over 5000 employees and a global office network. Michael Page is comprised of 25 disciplines each providing a service to a specialist area of the market. They recruit permanent, temporary, and contract and interim opportunities, working with a range of businesses from small to medium size enterprises to global blue-chip organisations.

Capita Plc.Capita Plc., founded in 1984, is an international business process outsourcing and professional services company headquartered in London. It is the UKs largest provider of business process management and integrated professional support service solutions. The company is serving with both private and public sectors. Whilst UK focused, Capita also operates across Europe, South Africa and India, with total employee up to 64,000 people working across 350 sites. The company has been listing on LSE since 1991, and is estimated around 6,9 billion for total market capital up to date.

HAYS PlcHays' Specialist Recruitment business was founded as the Career Care Group in 1969. The business was then acquired by Hays plc in 1986, the Specialist Recruitment business forming part of the diversified larger Hays group. It is employing over 8,000 staff in 237 offices across 33 countries, across the UK, Continental Europe, The Americas and Asian Pacific regions. Hays was first listed on LSE in 1989 under LSE:HAS, since then the total capital has been increasing. Market capital was estimated about 1.9 billion in 2013.
