• Periodic Tests are restricted to three for a

subject in an academic year.

• Average of the best two Periodic Tests will be

taken for Internal Assessment

• The portions for tests will be cumulative, i. e.

incorporates current & previous portions.

• The gradually increasing portion for the tests

will prepare the students to acquire confidence

for writing the final exam.

• 10 objective type questions for 10 marks(Gap-

filling, sentence completion, MCQ etc.)

Procedure:

• Students will listen to an audio clip twice and

will answer the questions on the worksheet

while listening.

• Students will not be allowed to ask questions or

interrupt the Assessor at any point.

Procedure :

• A week prior to the speaking test,15 topics

will be given to the students to prepare from.

• Each student will be given the choice to pick

up a cue card with a topic written on it.

• The total administration time for the

speaking test is approximately 2 minutes;

one minute for preparing and one minute for

delivering the speech.

• 20 minutes will be given to write answers.

• One mark will be awarded for each correct

answer.

Question type: VSA, Fill in the blanks, MCQ etc.

Procedure:

• Students will be informed about this activity well in

advance.

• Teacher will play an audio clip of a short Arabic

passage twice.

• A worksheet having ten questions will be given to the

students based on the audio clip.

• Students will complete the worksheet while listening

to it.

• One mark will be awarded for each correct answer.

Procedure:

• Two common topics based on the syllabus will

be given to the students in advance.

• Each student will choose a topic and speak ten

sentences about that topic in Arabic.

LOGOFINAL EXAM 80 Marks

• Board will conduct Final exam for Class X in each

subject covering 100% syllabus for 80 Marks at the

end of the session.

• Final exam will be conducted for Class IX in each

subject covering 100% syllabus for 80 Marks at the

end of the session.

• Marks and Grades will be awarded for each subject.

• 8-point grading scale based on the % of marks will

be followed.

• In each subject 33% marks out of 80 have to be

scored by the student for promotion, i.e. 27

• Pre Board exam will be conducted for Class X.
