WHY CORRUPTION ? People who work on right principles are unrecognized

and considered to be foolish in the modern society.

Corruption in India is a result of the connection between bureaucrats, politicians and criminals. Earlier, bribes

were paid for getting wrong things done, but now bribe is paid for getting right things done at right time.

WHAT DO YOU MEAN BY CORRUPTION ?Wrongdoing on the part of an authority or powerful party through means that

are illegitimate, immoral, or incompatible with ethical standards.

Corruption often results from patronage and is associated with bribery.

At the heart of this Rs.1.76-lakh crore worth of scam is the former Telecom minister A Raja – who

according to the CAG, has evaded norms at every level as he carried out the dubious 2G license awards in 2008 at a throw-away price which were pegged at

2001 prices.

Another Indian scandal was Commonwealth Games loot. It is estimated that out of Rs. 70000 crore spent only half of the amount was spent. Discrepancies in Tenders –like payment to non existence parties, over inflated prices, misappropriation of funds

was found by CVC
