In this era of retail evolution, anticipating and fulfilling customer needs is the key.
With the opening of more gigantic malls and
internationally-renowned boutiques in major shopping districts
around the region, shoppers no longer go for just the brand and
quality but also for the shopping experience. At Kingsmen, our
continuous learning and improvement culture enables us to meet
the increasing demands brought about by these changes.
Once again, here are some of the projects completed in
collaboration with our clients and business partners who believed
in Kingsmen’s quality service:
This compilation of our major projects is hereby presented to our
clients, suppliers and business partners in appreciation of their
constant support and trust in the Group’s capabilities. Likewise,
this issue is dedicated to our people who grew with us and
ensured that quality is maintained in each and every step towards
the completion of our projects. Kudos to another good year!
We completed more than 30 specialty stores at two of
Malaysia’s biggest shopping malls, Pavilion Kuala Lumpur and
Mid Valley City.
Once again, we worked with long-standing client, FJ
Benjamin, for the roll-out of Banana Republic in Singapore,
Malaysia and Indonesia.
Our Hong Kong office extended project management and fit-out
services to Tiffany & Co.’s new store in Kowloon, Hong Kong SAR.
With our roll-out expertise and quality custom fixture
manufacturing, Kingsmen was commissioned to fit-out Tag
Heuer in Asia, Middle East and South Africa.
Robinsons Department Store in The Gardens at Mid Valley City,
designed and built by Kingsmen, received two prestigious
awards in New York and Chicago, USA.

"Luxe Retail". The new Robinsons store located at
The Gardens in Mid Valley City, Kuala Lumpur,
Malaysia offers a world class shopping experience in
a world class department store.
The garden theme of the shopping complex was
incorporated into the store and was the basis for
many of the design elements. These garden
elements flowed to the ground floor from the
bamboo-shaped poles in the ladies' handbags
section to the star shapes formed by the hollow
spaces in the ceiling of the air well. The circular
shapes represent ripples in a pond and the original
design of the cosmetics section features lily pad shapes
on the floor which are reflected to the ceiling. All
these elements add to the mystic of the overall design
and uniqueness of the store design.
The store won the top prize for New or Completely
Renovated Specialty Department Store Category at
the recent ISP/VM+SD International Store Design
Awards 2007 in New York. It also received Outstanding
Merit at the 2008 Retail Design Awards held in
Chicago, USA while the ‘Climb & Slide’ fixture at the
Children’s Clothing section was one of the recipients
of the Store Fixture Award.

Lumpur, Malaysia’s retail and fashion hub – Pavilion Kuala Lumpur and
The Gardens at Mid Valley City. Located at the city’s busiest districts, both
malls boast an exciting shopping experience for shopaholics and window

Pavilion Kuala Lumpur is Malaysia’s answer to New York’s 5th Avenue,
Japan’s Ginza and Italy’s Milan. The 1.37 million sq-ft mall has seven levels
and six precincts that provide acute retail therapy ranging from
supermarkets to restaurants and specialty retail stores to luxury boutiques.
Kingsmen partnered with close to 20 leading brands in the retail industry
including debuting brands like Francescobiasia from Italy, EQ:IQ from Hong
Kong, Joan & David from USA and long-standing clients like Burberry, Esprit
and Ralph Lauren.
The Gardens at Mid Valley City, on the other hand, has a five-storey shopping
gallery with over 200 specialty shops. Kingsmen extended design and build
services to more than 10 upmarket clients including anchor tenant,
Robinsons, and well-known labels like Banana Republic and Celine.
Both projects were successfully completed through an efficient collaboration

Making the Difference through Better Understanding…
In this era of globalization, corporate transparency and commitment
to quality standards are necessary to create a brand that can traverse
cultures. In 2007, Kingsmen received the Corporate Governance
Award from the Securities Investors Association (Singapore)
Investors’ Choice Awards 2007, where Kingsmen was the only
recipient under the SESDAQ category. In the same year, we won
numerous design awards including Outstanding Merit at the Retail
Design Awards in the US and three awards from the Singapore
Outdoor Advertising Awards. To complete our suite of accolades,
Kingsmen was presented with the Service Partner Excellence Award
at the inaugural Singapore Business Events Awards organized by the Singapore Tourism Board. The company’s long list of multinational
clients, and local and international recognitions are a testament to the Group’s strength in providing effective solutions to clients
worldwide. Kingsmen’s continuous efforts in enhancing its integrated services to guarantee customer satisfaction has led the company to
become one of the leading communications design and production houses in Asia Pacific.

foster camaraderie and promote friendly competition
among the groups. Awards were given to the team with
