IMiss You
The haunting slam wakes me each hour,
reminding me of what I lostAll my tears have proof,
I walk the streets hiding behind plastic smiles
Hoping no one sees what's truly in my eyes
I'm wasting my time, searching
for what I can't find - she's not out there -
No one else is good enough.
Her shoes just cannot be filled.
No other hug, touch, caress or kiss
can replace or even come
close to what I miss

Girls
I can't stand to be around you
Yet you still won't leave,Emotionally I hurt you, call you names,
And all the while you still shift the blame,
Get out, leave me alone, get away.
Don't ever come back
"Girls"!
Can't live with 'em, can't kill 'em.

She Doesn't Even Know
My secret admirer and I'm Mr. X
Like school yard children I leave notes-,
on her desk,I love her at least I think I do, andShe's my girl but she doesn't know it yet.
Oh no! She sees me, and she's coming over,
I hope it's not to talk to me, please God no.
Whewl She's gone and she still doesn't know.

Time
What once was
is now gone
but always here to stay
Reminding us of our own mortality
And how much we need to pray
Open Meadow
A sea of green
Is a colorful field
Children laugh and jump as themajestic and mysterious blue whales at play.
A precious and rare treat for all.

Poetry
Close your eyes and see with your heart,
Feeling a oneness with everything around youListen to silence and hear its beauty
For all of life's wonders are in what we
can't explain.

Fear
Fear grips the heart and nearly rips it
to piecesThese silent chains hold with an unbelievable
weight,
The anxiety, worry and uncertainty tell us
to run, but
curiosity keeps us in place.

I'm scared, I'm alone,
And I long for your warm embrace
The warmth the love, the melody of your
heartbeat stills, soothes me as if I were stillinyour womb,
You carried me and protected me
You nursed me and raised me
You taught me and loved me
and now I may never see you again
"You can make it" were your last words
and now the haughty echo through my mind
"I'll be back!" I promised
But my eyes said goodbye forever.
