A Minute

I have just one minute,

sixty seconds to say all the things I want to say.

That my love for you will live strongforever and ever.

Till the moon falls into the bottomless sea.

And still my love will not die.

For my love will fightthrough thousands of women and men just to get to you.

Even in my grave with my remainsmy love will surround you.

As my eyes shut into endless sleepremember that my love will always be awake.

A Woman Who Lost Her Innocence

Remembering him…

forcing his way in.

Remembering my fearinvading my body.

Remembering my screams

as it bounced off my tongue.

Remembering those fingersslowly moving toward my lips.

Remembering the knife

that I stuck in his throat.Remembering those wordsthat he last spoke.

Remembering the bloodthat dripped down my face.

Remembering the cops running,as if they were in a race.

Remembering when theytook me home.

Remembering how I feltso all alone.

All About You

You are sweeter than candy

and more precious than gold.

My love for you is softer than a pillowthe way I feel has to be told.

You are warmer than my comforter

and smell better than a rose.

Your hair is so soft, softer than the silkiest clothes.

My words have come to an end so all that is

left to be said is that "I love you".

I shall love thee

always, always.Till the harsh winds blow me overand still I will love.

You shall be in my heartalways, always

no matter how far ye shall travel.

Though mine eyes have failed meI will see theealways, always.

Even though they have broken my arms and legsthey will never break my heart.

My love for thee shall not diebut flourish for love shall conquer over eviland I will love thee always, always.

Crushes

So many males have passed through these woods,

though none has noticed where he was.Branches have stretched, grass has grown.

But I guess they were invisible, because none of them had known.

None of them has noticedThe glowing gold rocks.

Was it because the nighthawks?

Many have swam in these deep blue lakessome longer than others.

Traveling through storms in these deep woodsone came close to the heart of the woods.

Many have come as they have left.

So I sit on this peaceful logat the end of the woodsas I wait for the right one to find me.

Maybe one day he will see.

Dirty Hands

His hands tell a sad tale

with all those broken lines. It tells a story of a handsome manworking hard and paying his fines.

It tells a story of a manwith a life ending very soon,

as his tired feet salute the moon.

He hangs his head down without a soundbut his mind has words to speak.

You see he lived a life of trouble

and now he pays his dues.He is sorry now but it’s too lateBecause this was to be his fate.

Don’t Say Goodbye

Just say you love me,

but don’t say goodbye.

Fill me with sunshinedon’t let my world turn dark.

Kiss my pains away

and fill them with happiness.

Pour on the sweetsand leave out the sours.

Just please don’t say goodbye.

Grandparents

They are called Grandparents because they are grand

And always understand.

They are filled with wisdom. And are totally awesome.

Are never fearful,

with eyes that seem to twinkle.

They are people to look up to,and people who love you.

If You…

If you were a book, I’d read you

making sure I know everything about you.

If you were a bus, I’d drive you, guiding you through this harsh planet.

If you were a sickness, I’d be an antibiotic

making sure you turned out healthy.

If you were night I’d be dayhappy to know I’d be right behind you.

And if you were a body, I’d be your soul

knowing we were bound together…forever…

Just A Child

When I was just three feet tall,

I remember the drawings I drew on the wall.Toys I wanted but couldn’t get, never again to feel that way I felt.

Mothers arm to crawl into, her smile that never kept me feeling blue.

Confused when they yelled “NO!”Hated when they told me “I told you so”

Smiles, imagination and fairy tales.Curious when I saw various types of snails.A gigantic world I knew I could explore.

Laughed when I heard my big dad’s snore. My brother and I went to China on a plane.Only to notice we were in a cardboard box in pain. Our cries are heard by mamma and there she comes, only she hits us with a reply“How could you have been so dumb”

Mother’s lap to sleep on when your sick.Nose you know you shouldn’t pick.Fathers strong arms to carry you up and down.

Hid when we heard the words“Time to go to dream town.”

Dreams colorful and bright,as we slept with mamma during the night. We love our mamma because she’s beautiful and smart. As she held us tight when we were afraid of the dark.

Just Yesterday

It seems like yesterday you touched my heart

with your tender words and loving smile.

Just yesterday I tied your lacesand picked you up when you fell.

Though it was yesterday

that I held your small body close to me,and kissed your saddened face.

It is today that I tell you that I love you.

Love

Could it be?

Is it true?I’m in love?

Love . . .

What does it mean?

Do I know it?Do I feel it?

Questions that I need answered.Answers I need to know.

Love . . .The word I longed to know about.

Love . . .

My Colors

Paint the colors on my black and white life

orange, green, red and blue.Lift the rainbows above my headand pull the sheets off my bed.Come into my imaginary landand have reality banned.Life is not a big old treat

But here it can sure be neat.

My Fairy Tale

It was a warm but windy night

His hands reached out to me,So soft and smooth they wipe away my salty tears.

Mystery in his eyesDrives me to kiss them shut.

We kiss under the moonlight, out into the ocean we walk. Not one drop of salty water on my shiny new dress.

Not a worry in my head.

He wipes the tears of my happinessAnd heals the feeling of dread.

Soon he disappears.

Au revoir, I say to the air.

My Grandparents

I remember the soft touch,

and how they loved me so much.I remember the days in the park, and how they held me tight in the dark.

I often remember the kind words they spoke, and how in the hot summers they drank diet coke.

I remember the fresh baked cookies, and how they always brought me goodies.

I remember when we played in the snow, wow, it seems as if it were just a moment ago.

I remember when they read me my favorite book, and how I would love to help them cook.

I remember when they held me when I cried, and tied my laces when they untied.

I remember the funny jokes they would tell, and how they picked me up when I fell.

I don’t only remember the good timeslike my hair that they curled.I mostly remember that theywere the best Grandparents in the world.

Out Of Darkness Comes Light

Two weeks had gone by,

and she did not know why.Inside the humble church she’s on her knees to pray, asking God for things to go her way.

Soon someone is kickingand the pain is sickening.

Crying and crying, she yells out “stop fighting”

She lies on her backafter struggling hours soon comes an attack.

Pushing then tearing

there goes the swearing.

Sharp pains that feel like pointy spears,Soon roll down the cheeks those salty tears.

Yelling and screamingfollowed by bleeding.

She fought through darknessand came out soundless.

She was brought into light and wrapped in white.

Now everything is normaland soon she made it formal.

Two weeks has gone byand she doesn’t know why.

Inside this humble church she’s on her knees to pray.Telling God, “Thanks for the good things thatcame my way.”

So Sorry

Sorry for all the mistakes I’ve made

Sorry for all the troubles I gaveSorry for all the winters I’ve missedSorry for all the secrets I hissed.Sorry for the good memories I theftSorry for the scars I left.

Especially sorry for being me.

Stories Of A Broken Heart

I cry endlessly

wishing you would come backand heal the pain you left me.

My heart breaksa hundred times a minuteremembering how much I loved you.

My love and friendshiphas been wasted.

I long for one frozen momentWith you.

So what is there left to do,

I can’t stand this pain much longer.

No longer will I wake upand see your smiling face.

No longer will I see yourmysterious eyes.

So what more is there to live for.

Too Late

Yesterday I cried.

Though it meant nothing to you.

Cause you were too busy caressing him, that you did not even see.

That frown you thought you saw was there

even though I denied it.

My heart was in pain.I loved you so much.

Silly enough I cry for your attention

as at this mirrorI stare at my reflection.

Yesterday reflects today. So today I die.

True Friend

You are my friend, you should know that’s true.

I will always be there for you.Even when I think there’s nothing I can do.Even if my world should turn blue.

Whenever you’re sad,Even when you’re bad.

I’ll stick by you.For I care for you.

I’ll always be a true friend,And will never lead you to the dark end.

For that is not a real friend.Whenever you need meI will be on the other line.I’ll always have the time.

Because you are my friend,

You should know that’s true.
