REMINDERS FOR April 11th BAND REHEARSAL AND CONCERT Students, please remember to put your name and school name on your music stand before leaving at 8:30. Lunch will be provided by Dr. Dawg. Students should meet in the Dominican High School Gym (2nd floor) at 6:30pm.
Attire for the concert should be as follows: Boys-Black or Navy pants with a collared shirt; no ties
Girls- Black or Navy skirt with tights or leggings
PLEASE NOTE Rainbow Olympics is TUESDAY, MAY 21. There will be an All School Mass at 8:30 prior to the start of Rainbow Olympics. There will not be regular school Masses on Wednesday in Thiensville or Thursday in Mequon since the students will have Mass on Tuesday together.
Mass will still be said for the parishioners.
TIME FOR SHORTS??....ALREADY?!! Despite the cool temperatures, Spring is here! Students are permitted to wear uniform shorts and skorts as of April 15th. Just a reminder that shorts must be navy blue and knee length.
Please refer to the uniform guidelines in the handbook if you have any questions.
WE APPRECIATE YOU! Lumen Christi will be honoring all parents, grandparents, friends and parish members for their generosity and help throughout this past school year. An Appreciation Mass will be held on Thursday, April 18th at 8:30am in the Mequon Church with hospitality to follow in St. James Hall.
We hope everyone will be able to join us! All Students in grades K4-2 should report to the Mequon campus for morning drop off. Students in grades K4-2 will be transported back to the Thiensville campus at approximately 10:00am. The 3rd grade students will remain
at the Mequon campus to “shadow” the 4th graders. They will return to Thiensville at 12:00pm.
IMPORTANT DATE CHANGE The Spring Band and Strings Concert has been moved from May 16th to May 2nd. The concert will take place at the Thiensville campus at 1pm.
7TH GRADE PREVIEW DAY AT DOMINICAN HIGH SCHOOL Contact the DHS Admissions Office now to reserve your place for the 7th grade preview day on

TORNADO AND SEVERE WEATHER AWARENESS WEEK For more than 20 years, the state of Wisconsin has conducted a Severe Weather Awareness
Week in partnership with the National Weather Service. This year, Governor Scott Walker has proclaimed the week of April 15-19, 2013 Tornado and Severe Weather Awareness week in Wisconsin. A statewide tornado drill is part of that event. On April 18th simulated tornado
watches and warnings will be issued to test the statewide warning and communications systems. As a school, we will participate in this drill to practice our safety procedures. For more information, please follow this link http://readywisconsin.wi.gov/news/2013/Tornado_2013_School.pdf
The statewide drill will take place on Thursday, April 18 at 1:45pm.
