Do not fly near buildings, high voltage cables, or trees to ensure the safety of yourself, others. and your model. Do not fly your model in inclement weather, such as rain, wind, snow, or darkness.
Obtain the assistance of an experienced pilot :Before turning on your model and transmitter check to make sure no one else is operating on the same frequency. Frequency interference can cause your model or other models to crash The guidance provided by an experienced pilot will be invaluable for the assembly tuning trimming and actual first flight (Recommend you to practice with computer based flight simulator).
Always be aware of the rotating blades :During the operation of the helicopter the main rotor and tail rotor will be spinning at a high rate of speed The blades are capable of inflicting serious bodily injury and damage to the environment Be conscious of your actions and careful to keep your face eyes hands and loose clothing away from the blades Always fly the model a safe distance from yourself and others as well as surrounding objects Never take your eyes off the model or leave it unattended while it is turned on immediately turn off the model and transmitter when you have landed the model.

Binding Procedure

Put 8 X AA Batteries into the transmitter battery compartment.
Insert the “Binding Plug” into the battery socket on the main receiver.
Turn on the receiver by connecting the battery to the ESC.
(the LEDs on both receivers should be flashing, that means they are in searching mode)
Press and Hold the binding button on the transmitter while switching on the transmitter.
In about 10 seconds, they should bind correctly. The LEDs on both receivers should
become solid, that means the binding process has completed.
Release the binding button on the transmitter, and remove the “Binding Plug” from the
receiver.
Plug in the servos and run simple test, if the test failed, please repeat the binding proecess.

The receiver must be bound to the transmitter before use. Binding is the process for the transmitter and receiver to recognize each other. Once bound, the receiver will only connect to the bound transmitter. The Transmitter and Receiver you received have “ALREADY” bound. If you need to re-bind the transmitter and receiver, please follow the following steps :

Programming software and USB cable driver and be found on the CD included.
Install the USB cable driver once windows has detected the USB cable.
Open the programming software : t6config.EXE

Turn on transmitter, please make sure 8 X AA Batteries were installed.
Connect USB cable to Transmitter.

Setting
Click “Setting”, you will need to choose the correct COM port that the USB driver simulated. Please choose from these COM ports until the channel output display has movement according to your stick movement on your transmitter.
Press “OK” when you have the corret COM port.
Click “GetUser” to import the current settings from the transmitter to computer.
Please click “GetUser” ASAP after the correct COM Port is selected, or your settings on the transmitter will be overrided.

Click “Save” button to save your current parameter settings into a file and stored on your computer. You can save more than one settings.
Left click the “Save” button to save the parameter settings.
Click “GetUser” button to import the current settings from the transmitter to computer.
Please click “GetUser” ASAP after the correct COM Port is selected, or your settings on the transmitter will be override.

Click “EndPoint” button to set the each channel travel range, from 0%-100%.
Left click the “EndPoint” button to set each channel’s Travel Range.Default is 100%.

Click “Reverse” button to set each channel’s direction. You may reverse the direction of the particular servo to make it work in the correct direction.

Click “Subtrim” button to fine tune each channel’s trimming, usually for center-ing the servos. Range from -120 to 120 (Do not use excessive sub-trim values or it may overdrive the servo’s maximum travel.)

Click “DR” button to set the “Dual Rates” value for each channel. This function is available for Ch 1, Ch 2 and Ch 4. Adjustable value is from 0% to 100%.
Left click “DR” to set Dual Rates value to Ch 1, Ch2 and Ch 4.
Click “Mode” button to set the contol mode according to user preference. This means Right hand throttle = Mode 1, Left hand throttle = Mode 2. The system offers 4 different modes to choose.
Left click “Mode” to set throttle contol mode.

Click “Type” to set the Swashplate Type for your helicopter. It has ACRO (Aeroplane), HELI-90, HELI-120 and HELI-140. Storm Thunder 450 is using HELI-120.

Click “Thro Cuv” to set the Throttle Curve in 2 modes, NOR = Normal , ID = Idle 1. The system allows you to set throttle curve in 5 points.
