Almost 100 concerned parents, educators and care-givers attended last week’s workshop called “Taming the Technology Monster,” presented by Jim and Lynne Jackson of Connected Families. As a result, a follow-up session is being planned that will include resources and answers to technology and safety issues presented by experts in the field. Stay tuned!

Unite Camp (July 11–15) is just for our 9th graders (based on grade in Fall ’13). We will head to the Wisconsin Dells for a week of spiritual growth together. We will enjoy some fun in the sun as we venture into the Dells and surrounding area. Students will have an opportunity to hear from leaders throughout the week.

Over light refreshments you’ll meet staff, ministry leaders and others new to Westwood. The next Getting Acquainted is Sunday, Feb 17, at 9:45am in the Prairie Room. Children’s programming (birth–grade 5) is available.
Praying for each otherAfter each service, you are invited to come for prayer for any need that you may have. Your requests for prayer will be treated as confidential unless you desire specific follow up. In the morning, the Prayer Team members are at the front of the Worship Center; at the ELEMENTS service a prayer station is located inside the right entrance of the Worship Center. You are also welcome to use this area as a place of personal prayer.
