Madrigal Dinner—Tickets Available Our FA Madrigal Dinner is Saturday, December 10th in the

South Campus Gym! To purchase tickets, just click the

picture to the left! A "Madrigal Dinner" is a trip back in time

where singers dress in 16th Century English costumes and

herald in the Christmas season while the King and Queen

host their Christmas Feast! Guests will experience comedy

from our Drama Team, favorite Christmas songs from our

Madrigal Singers and FA Choir, and a catered multi-course dinner. The castle door opens at

5:30pm and the performance begins at 6pm. Reservations are $25/person, and we have

seats for 200. We hope you’ll join us for this unique way to celebrate the season in style!

Thespian District Competition Once again, FA's Troupe 7059

of the International Thespian

Society is going to State! On

November 19th, 13 FA drama

students competed with over

1,000 other drama students

from all over Orange County

in the District 5 Thespian

Competition and 7 of them

scored Superiors, which

qualifies them for the state competition in March in Tampa—the largest Thespian

competition in the world! Thespians going on to state are Brittany S, Maddi D, Casey K,

Madison M, Abby D, Susannah C, and Madison F. Way to go Thespians! We are so proud to

call you Lions!

State of the Academy—RSVP Today! Our State of the Academy on January 9th is rapidly

approaching! This year the dinner portion of the evening

will be catered, so we must know if you plan to dine with

us by December 21st at the latest. Tickets are available

online—just click the picture to the right to purchase

tickets. We hope you can be a part of this incredibly

important night for our school family!

Two Professional Sports Events!NFL PRO BOWL! On Sunday, January 29th attend the Pro Bowl at the Citrus Bowl in Orlando! FA has tickets, which will get you entrance to the Pro Bowl, a free hat, and access to the field after the game! Tickets are just $45. AMWAY GAMES! On Friday, February 3rd, our Varsity Boys Basketball team will play Cambridge Christian School at the Amway Center in the afternoon, before the Orlando Magic play the Toronto Raptors that night. 1 ticket gets you into both games (the FA game and Magic game)! Upper Seats are $25 and lower level seats are $65. To purchase tickets, email Christy Baginski!

Campus. So feel free to stop by and spread some school

Light up Winter Garden! Come to Light Up Winter Garden this Friday (December 2nd) in

downtown Winter Garden and hear our very own FA choir (7th

through 12th Grades)! They will be performing on the front

steps of City Hall on Plant Street. Multiple choirs from schools in

the community will be performing from 6:30pm to 8:30pm. Our

FA choir performs at 6:50pm—you don’t want to miss it!

Guidance Department Our upcoming College Lunch Visit is on Monday, December

5th with Ringling College of Art and Design. We also have

two upcoming Rising 9th Grade Parent Meetings in

December. These parent informational sessions will cover topics including high school

academics, course scheduling, standardized testing overview, and college application

overview. Students who have one parent attend any of the Rising 9th Grade Parent

Meetings will be given a spirit-wear (FA t-shirt and jeans) day the next day! Go to Rising
