Table should not be main focus of environment. babies and infants: remember to have a small space to place non- mobile infants while you are prepping other activities. Should not be 1/2 of your environment. Welcoming to all environment reflects the diversity of your community. includes cultural aspects of the children in your care. materials & activities provide different levels of challenge and based on interests and needs of the children. have a diverse and culturally responsive environment: promote children's positive self- identity Helps children respect and appreciate differences Remember to include parents in selection of cultural materials like photos, books, songs, and stories.
