IMAGINA-TION WILL TAKE YOU EVERY-WHERE-
SITUATION
First constructed in 1904 for The Royal London Friendly Society. Charles Heathcote was the architect and
the building was declared Grade II Listed on the 3rd of October 1974. Located in the Deansgate/Peter Street
Conservation Area it is a classic example of a large imposing commercial piece of architecture from the Edwardian
Baroque period.
A remodelled entrance and reception area heralds an impressive atrium from the ground to the fifth floor creating a unique space in which business can flourish.ALBERT EINSTEIN

The building is prominently situated at the busy junction of Deansgate, Quay Street and Peter Street in the heart of Manchester city centre.
196 Deansgate is in the perfect position for easy access
to both Victoria and Deansgate Rail Stations, while St
Peter’s Square MetroLink Station
is approximately 300 metres from the building.
The property is located on the doorstep of Manchester’s
principal financial and professional services destination,
Spinningfields. As the largest mixed use development in
the North West of England, Spinningfields offers a unique
blend of civic, residential, hotel, leisure and retail space.
196 Deansgate is also within 50 metres of the Great
Northern retail and leisure complex providing a range of
restaurants and bars, together with a Lifestyle Fitness, a
multi-screen cinema and NCP car park. A U
