Process Innovation
Toowong ProcessTM Technology • The Toowong Process is a new technology for the removal of As
penalties from Cu concentrates.
• Developed by Core in partnership with Xstrata. 31 day
continuous integrated pilot in Dec 2012.
Scandium SX Technology • A new process developed by David Nakon (Core PPE) in 2011-
2012 for the solvent extraction and purification of Scandium.
99.999% pure Scandium Oxide product generated, and
demonstrated at full pilot scale.
Albion ProcessTM Technology
• The Albion ProcessTM is a highly effective process for the oxidative leaching
of refractory Au and base metal concentrates
• Developed at hrltesting in the mid 1990’s, now commercialised globally by
Glencore. Core is the global marketing agent for the Albion Process.
Pilot Testing
• Design, mobilisation and execution of DFS pilot programmes for
beneficiation, hydrometallurgical and metal recovery processes.
