I like this image because of the way the model is posing and how the over all mage has been shot. Following this example. I would also like my model to pose in a similar confident manner. This is a long shot which means that it allows the audience to have a good view of what she’s wearing. The model is wearing clothing that is idealistic for a female interested in the rock genre. She is wearing a leather biker jacket, a beanie hat and her hair is dishevelled so this reinforces the bad girl image. This also helps gives the impression that she is wildly expressive and care free.

This image would be ideal for a front cover or double page spread as the outgoing personality is clearly conveyed in this image. Furthermore, the model featured in this image is also quite young which means that younger audiences would able to relate to her as they are within a similar age range.

The setting of the shot is in the roof top of a abandoned building. The brick wall and the rugged surrounding gives off a edgy vibe to audience which reflects on the genre of rock. The fact that the background of image is blurred suggests that the model is of major significance. This means that the model is the central focus of the audience.

I would also like to present my model in a similar way so that my readers are attracted to my magazine. Her outfit consists of a leather biker jacket, skin tight leather trousers and studded high heels. This all contributes greatly to the bad girl image. I would also like to have a powerful image that conveys a stereotypical representation of rock music as well instilling a sense of excitement in my audience .

The way artist is positioned suggests that he is extremely passionate about his music so having seen this, the audience could gain a real sense of admiration for him. As a result, this type of image would be perfect featured on a double page spread of a rock magazine. Using this example I would like to have a similar approach and I would like to have them posing in much more wild and energetic manner in order to really exaggerate the edginess of rock music.

This is an outfit that rock artists are stereotypes to wear on stage.
